Well here’s hoping he goes to jail I think even trump has basically said he’s guilty of bribes kind of embarrassing he’s saying it out loud to Herzog that once he’s found guilty he should be pardoned maybe that’s another reason bibi went along with the whole ceasefire.
Definitely agree trump went along with this whole ceasefire for his own ego he rather people adore him than hate him no matter what he posts on Truth Social and if he’s willing to force the Israelis to go along with his plans maybe a real just peace(again not that he actually cares one way or the other about Palestinians or Israelis) if he can make the Israelis concede most of the West Bank with a land swap in the Negev desert or maybe convince the Egyptians to give up 10 miles for Gaza population or even expand Gaza through artificial means would work out

You can see this is not really a "peace" agreement if it's just limited to Hostage exchange, because nothing had changed in the dynamic, you are just simply saying "Hey Israeli, stop bombing these people" and then turn around and tells the Palestinian "Hey give them back the hostage" without touching the root clause of the problem, which is the Palestinian Statehood. And until this has been gone over, this is never a valid peace solution; it will ALWAYS remain fragile, and just waiting on the next head to blow.

Now, can Trump use this to force Netanyahu to go further with a Permanent Peace Solution, like giving Palestinian statehood? Well, you can always try to force two opposite people together, just how long can it hold is the matter, even if Trump offer Netanyahu Asylum if he play ball and give Palestinian Statehood, the Official and Unofficial attack between the two is going to keep on, because the core issue of this problem is, Palestinian think the Israeli are occupying their land, and they want the Israeli out, and the Israeli think this is their land and Hamas keep attacking it, nothing, at least at this point can resolve this as far as I can see, state or no state, there are ALWAYS going to be war between the 2, so unless you have 2 very strong force that basically trump both Israeli and Hamas, to observe and keep the peace on both border, this is not going to be a thing to even considered.

Hamas is weak and may collapse. Israel wants Hamas to remain in a very weak state but not finished so it can prevent Arab states from governing Gaza.

Israel thus is arming militias in parts of Gaza just enough to keep some civil strife going and preventing a post-war government from governing Gaza. A government that is selected by Egypt - US - Arab States - Turkey etc ...

If Israel feels like it cannot prevent that government from coming into reality, it will resume genocide to commit ethnic cleansing and permanently end Gaza.

Unless mediators and US stop it.

Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Prisoners’ Club:

250 prisoners serving life sentences will be released as part of the deal today, Monday.

Among them:

– 154 will be exiled ("deported")

– 96 will not be exiled, 8 of whom will be released to Gaza (as they are originally from Gaza)
