I think it was good foresight from the Americans to not give the ANA any conventional heavy weaponry

It wasn't from a lack of trying. They just found that the ANA weren't able to maintain any sort of heavy machinery.

Okay .... and what will they fire from it ? Watermelons ?

I mean ... they just don't even have stuff to fight with, with anyone at all .. so why do they wanna fight ? Now I'm getting more mad at the sheer stupidity of Taliban, than their attacks.

Full details:
For years, Islamabad was hijacked by the illusion of “strategic depth” backing Pashtun factions while sidelining Tajiks, Uzbeks, and Hazaras who carried Afghanistan’s true intellectual and civilizational strength. They were right. We were wrong. Inclusivity was the answer all along.

Time to change it!

Afghanistan's people are food and fuel insecure. Harsh Winter is approaching and the price of cooking gas increased by 15 Afghani per kilo on the 2nd of October.

Some 451,000 children aged 6 to 59 months facing moderate acute malnutrition and acutely malnourished pregnant and breastfeeding women. (WfP)

They should stop this nonsense and focus on their population which have been adi dependent from the WHO, WFP and partners since 2021.

Unreliable source but dudes hiding

Yep he is hiding all right like the disgusting dirty rat he is. There are drones all over Kandhar looking for this rat. He escaped the initial bombing.

I actually feel sorry for Taliban's stupidity in this all. Not sorry for Taliban, but for their stupidity in dragging us into this all needlessly.

Unlike India which has a death wish on Pakistan, we Pakistanis never wanted any of this for Afghans and it feels sad that they are forcing us to do this all .... and then doubling down on it instead of letting us back off.

This is why Taliban need to go. We need a friendly Govt that stops doing all of this nonsense for no reason. I hope someone else takes over that has nothing to do with interfering in Pakistan, at least.
Exactly my sentiments of the past few days. Its like a having a rebellious child at home who knows that they cant mess with their dad but try to do so anyway.

I mean...who were the Taliban before they came to power?? They were no bodies and it was only during the 1990s that Pakistan supported this group to take almost all of Afghanistan during the civil war. They were a band of students in Kandahar wishing to impose Shariah Law, which Pakistan exploited through its madrassas for a political outcome which is now proving to be a fool errand.

Anyway, the Taliban have always had the power because due to the backing of a Pakistani state. I dont understand how stupid they can be to not realise this and try to bite the hand that feeds it. Pakistan was its main and primary benefactor and all they had to do was ensure Pakistan's safety and nothing else. Be a friendly state and grow with Pakistan together.

But I guess, they saw this as their rightful success for "fighting in the way of Allah" and that Pakistan was just a means to this end and nothing more. So, it owes Pakistan nothing and they are now embarking on an open aggression against Pakistan with the same thought. But remember, Pakistan is also fighting in the way of Allah" ridding Muslims of takfiris and khawrij.

So, ultimately, it is really sad that the Taliban chose this for themselves and that there is deep history that all warlords that have sided with Pakkstan have eventually prevailed. Who knows which groupd would seek to court Pakistan and take the chance to fight against the Taliban with such support.

I am afraid a lot of Afghansa are going to lose their life in this process and there will be open hostilities and bombings in Pakistan too.
