Why should KSA bother with Afghanistan's Talibaan?

I think the USA would be much more receptive to a Talibaan free Afghanistan where Pakistani Military holds some ground, which any new coalition in Afghanistan will have to cede to Pakistan as compensation and security. For this, I would like to think that the US would be willing to provide funding and weapons.....in return the US would be given the Afghanistan Base it wants (unless that is a problem for China, which would bring us back to square 1).
Imagine if we are planning on opening a front against China down the road. It would explain the American behaviour.

Amazing job our boys are doing. Loved the video of the two Jawans ambushing and destroying a T-72 with RPG-7. Shows Talibs they are not even safe on their own roads.

Seems like very soon they will have no posts, camps, buildings or tanks as part of their military.

Keep it up, no ceasefire, bring them to their knees.
dude lets be real its not going good . our soldiers are getting butchered and we are just destroying abandoned posts

90% of questions here are like, why aren't we doing this? Why not using that? Why not bulldoze? Why not nuke?

This is not a teenage Call of Duty duel and unlike many of us believe, Pakistan has major constraints on inventories of almost all the 'toys' us folks drool over.

We CANNOT go all in. We CANT. We never have. Our strategy always has been to fight for 2 days so that we can start diplomacy on the 3rd day. Always.

And this is not because the generals are cowards. This is bcz of our economic and inventory contraints. Hate this but this is the fact.

And we are so going back to the table with these cavemen once again. There is no other outcome. Unless some generals at the top decides to go full nuts. And then what? We can't manage the fallout.

then why didn't we accept their ceasefires requests , we rejected them and we are still doing nothing

When Asim Munir and his generals realizes that their titles aren't just for show and building DHAs.

Right now, it seems to be the FC and PAF leading this fight, while Asim Munir continues to pretend his field Marshall status means something.
I dont think PAF’s that involved. Isnt it military aviation conducting all the drone strikes?

They're doing what they can, and pounded Kandahar. They can't get too distracted with Afghanistan, as India remains an active threat.

This is mainly a drone game, as drones are doing a tremendous job.

This is actually a test

The "air force" is our drone force
And the fighting is being done by the F.C

Very little actual army is being involved at this moment

The F.C always got arms old equipment, Old tanks, artillery etc I think over time they want to set up dealing with Afghanistan as a FC task with increasing levels of training and equipment

The amount of real time training and information being gained from the drone conflict is ENORMOUS

Well generals are businessmen. They will find ways not to fight anyone.

india sai nahi larh saktai. Afghanistan sai nahi larh saktai

To bhai jo woh maang rahai hain woh do aur baat khatam karo

Ajeeb drama laga k rakha hai

Exactly this. Troops on this op becoming battle hardened.

If China wants a base for themselves, they should get inside Afghanistan too with us. It can be a tri party control. We cannot just sit back because of them. If America has taken the decision to back us in this, our iron brother needs to step in too. One needs to do something to be rewarded with smth.
