am appalled that some people express “concern” over a dead whale shark washing ashore in Gaza, while the terrorist Israel forces have literally brutally butchered and burned our families in their houses and tents, many times on camera, for two years and still.
(Today Israel slaughtered ten human beings. Parents of two families and their children, aged 12-5)
On September 25, 2025, my second cousin, his wife, and their four children were butchered in an Israeli terrorist strike.
Just three days ago, my relatives managed to recover the body of one child and the upper halves of another two.
One child, 2 years old, remains under the rubble of the multi-floor family house until today. His name was Yousef
The images I received today from my relatives were deeply disturbing, showing unimaginable injuries.
The head of one child, a girl, was slit open I could see the brain. It’s too graphic to share here.
Yet, some racist and pro-genocide people feign compassion for a deceased whale shark while the terrorist Israel forces not only starved our families, slaughtered and burned them alive, but also prevented thousands of patients, especially cancer patients, from leaving Gaza to receive medical treatment for months. They even blocked first responders from rescuing the lives of families who were trapped beneath the rubble of their houses. They many times bombed the first responders while on mission. Remember any of this?
I mean, the level of inhumanity it takes to criticize people for accidentally encountering a whale shark in the few hundred feet of sea they’re allowed to swim or fish in, while Israel has been cruelly blocking or severely restricting food into Gaza, is beyond words.
One important note:
For many months, Israel has prohibited Gaza’s fishermen from accessing Gaza sea. Some who attempted to fish, especially during the Israeli-made starvation, were abducted or even killed.
(*there has been a sea blockade for years before the ongoing genocide.)
It’s not as if the people or fishermen of Gaza were leisurely sailing or fishing in their waters, hoping to catch a rare fish.
And it’s not as if the people or fishermen of Gaza even knew what kind of fish they had found, let alone how to handle it if it was still alive.
It’s not like Israel left any functioning government in Gaza, which, if the fish had been alive and the authorities understood its rarity, might have sent it back to safety.
It’s not like Israel left anything at all.
I can only imagine what it must have felt like for the people of Gaza to see a whale shark, even a dead one, wash up on their beach, after two years without fish or any other fresh meat to eat.
I mean, the inhumanity it takes to pretend to care about the sanctity of life at all, especially after the images everyone saw in the past two days of slaughtered Palestinian hostages returned in plastic bags marked only with numbers?
Unbelievably inhumane!!!
