Haqqani is under house arrest.....is it trure....and all Taleban from Haqqani faction has been separated from duties.
Its not true.

One twitter account spreading fake news is spreading this false information.

The haqqanis are increasingly discontent with the taliban high command, sure, but they're also very powerful, and any attempt to place them under arrest would see immediate fighting break out.

Basically. There's no truth to this.

@That_Guy

As it is, Pakistan is literally the only nation keeping Indian borders safe from the taliban, both Afghan and Pakistani.

Correct, sir! I have written on the same lines in this thread-lost somewhere in the 500 plus pages. And that is why I maintain that it is in interest of both IND and PAK to come to a modus vivendi in Kashmir.

Regards
Some sort of agreement for Kashmir is inevitable, its just a matter of circumstances, and what is agreed upon.

These talibs have an institutionalized hatred for Pakistan.

I think time is close to start wacking their leadership.

Lets talk about the weapons arsenal in Taliban hand to gain their objectives.

From just one US base in Afghanistan, the Taliban are known to have acquired 70 sniper rifles and 900 other guns. Over 160,000 radios and pieces of communication equipment were supplied by the US, as well as around 16,000 night-vision goggle devices. The machine guns, mortars, and artillery pieces acquired have already given the Taliban an advantage against the failed resistance strongholds that once fought in the Panjshir Valley northeast of Kabul.

Since capturing the numerous Afghan airbases the intact aircraft that the Taliban are reported to be in possession of include 13 x airplanes, 44 x helicopters, and 7 x Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. In addition to M117s and Humvees, the Taliban also uses American-made MaxxPro Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles and M113 armored personnel carriers.

The SCUD missiles are at 02:13 of video while T-55 tanks follow next. There are also blackhawk, MH-6 and Mi-17 helicopters in video. A-29 Tucano are being flown.

A dream operation for me would be to completely annihilate their entire air arsenal, which Pakistan can easily do. Or to "liberate" the air assets from talib control.

Like I said, a bunch of talib commanders have been killed. They need replacing.

For all their tall claims, this is a public admission they lost.

I SEE this fight will eventually break out with in Taleban factions

SCUDS are a threat.
They're also decades old, and unlikely in good enough condition to risk using. Unless they get Russian help to refurbrish them, which i doubt will happen, they're basically a "they either work, they don't work, or they blow up killing everyone close by"

Touche. I have already mentioned this on X. But you have given a beautiful visual representation to that idea.

Anyway, as far as Iranian are concerned, they will be actually happy that no dam is built it operated on the river, choking their supply.

ISR on the other hand is also easier in the desert than in the mountains of chagai.

There is also a flat land in the desert big enough where Pakistan could put a run way for drone base atleast or an airbase in the long term which will not only offer ISR in the sector but also depth against India if upgraded to a full fledged airbase.View attachment 154730

I agree with what you have said. The matter of the fact is that Afghanistan will never give up its claim on Pakistan’s territory. That has been proved by its history since 1947. The only solution to this menace is an adjustment to the Durand line to create a more natural, viable, and defendable Pak-Afghan border.

We must not forget that Afghanistan was the last country to accept Pakistan as a free and sovereign state. However, Afghanistan’s rulers, be it the kings, presidents, or warlords like Taliban, have never missed any opportunity to occupy Pakistan’s territory by force, sometimes committing naked aggression by lashkars and other times by using terrorism. Afghanistan was always supported by anti-Pakistan states like the erstwhile USSR and India.

Pakistan’s active role in Afghanistan effectively started after Soviet’s 1979 invasion and occupation of Afghanistan. Since Soviets came into Afghanistan with dreams of reaching to warm waters of Arabian Sea, Pakistan was vulnerable to be the next victim of the Soviets. It's worth mentioning that the communism was then globally advancing while the western ‘imperialism’ was on the retreat after suffering defeat after defeat in Europe, Asia, Africa, and even in South America in 1960s and 70s. Pakistan firm stand against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan and an effective launch of Afghan resistance/Jihad against the Soviet occupiers in Afghanistan was a pleasant surprise even for the west, especially Americans, who considered Afghanistan as the lost cause.

Almost similar scenario developed again in Afghanistan when Nato occupied that country after the Taliban leadership foolishly refused to handover OBL and his cohorts for the nine-eleven terrorist attacks in New York. The people of Afghanistan subsequently paid a heavy price with hundreds of thousand lives and vast death and destruction throughout the country.
