We saw how we were able to detect and track small Indian military vectors with the help of China and its satellites during the May war, so, since we also have a massive network of spies/moles inside Afghanistan, wouldn't there be a case where, with HUMINT, SIGINT, and aerial ISR, our forces might detect them, track them through IMINT/sat support, and then just bomb the crap out of the stockpile/launcher locations with SOWs?

Yes there is. Pakistani military takes all threats into account and then devises plans to neutralize them.

There was a rumor of Indian SF training TTP in Afghanistan. The way TTP handles weapons, takes cover, fires on the move, checks rooms etc, its evident some country's SF is training them. Then the accurate use of thermal sights, NVGs etc as well as stealth tactics to attack are also a testimony to this.

Nothing is left to chance in war planning by Pakistan, all factors (threat, political, social impact, retaliation) are taken into account.

Of course. I imagine in a proper full scale war, Pakistan would target and destroy every major afghan asset first from the beginning.

As it is, I think the Afghans know that such a missile strike would be an escalation that Pakistan would gladly exploit. They wont use these missiles, unless they have no other choice.

I wonder if all else fails, is the real nuclear option decapitation strikes to kill the leadership and openly supporting Northern alliance to take control.

For me longer term this seems the most logical solution. Taliban are not reasonable it seems.

But, imo, it is fondamentally flawed as afghanistan's issue with Pakistan isnt new or recent. From day one the afghanis never accepted Pakistan.

The best we can do with afghanistan is to seal the border and treat them as hostile for the foreseable future, which is already being done.

Its unfortunate that we have to live in a shitty neighborhood, where everybody wants to kill us.
