Training had started during US tenure in Afghanistan. Attacks on PN and PAF bases showed the same pattern. If you read my post #8570, i had mentioned how Pakistan responded to threats during tenures of different leaderships.

Yes, Taliban captured 9 of them. 5 were fired in 1996 and 4 were scrapped in 2001. At this point the only thing Taliban have going on for them, is rehashed Ukraine Videos and downloaded images of missiles, tanks and planes to show Pakistan what they might do with those images.

Tajiks are already asking Pakistan to support them so they can get whole of Afghanistan. Plus, they are not Pashtun, so they have no interest in trying to capture Pakistan's Pashtun areas by denying Durand line. The ascribe to the current map of Afghanistan with no expansionist agenda, ever.

If Pakistan can make a pact that NA / Tajiks will not raise the Durand line issue then Pakistan should go all the way to help them. Otherwise there is just no end to this with the Taliban.
