In all of this, has anyone noticed how pacified the cowdungies in the East have been ?

For one week we were fully concentrated on Afghanistan and despite shouting and screaming by their media about a 2-front war, these people did not even have the courage to fire a bullet, while Pakistan spanked their Telebunny buddies, right in front of their faces.

I don't know what Pakistan Army did to our supposedly 7 times larger neighbour in May, but something seriously wrong was done to them, for them to be this militarily pacified since then.

We have tried the way of courting the Taliban for 30 years, that policy is a disaster and anybody that advocates it is as clueless as the ones who advocated for it since the last 30 years.

Its the Taliban symathersiers who are in the wrong. Asim Munir got his command much later and is trying to eradicate the problem and sending the illegal Afghans, who have no love for Pakistan, back, just like every country in the world operates. Don't mix him up with the people who hyped up, created and installed the Telebunnies and are still advocating for them. Each brass is judged by its actions and the current one has no sympathies for the Taliban, at all.

It’s good that they are coming to accept that their behavior will not be tolerated any longer.

Knowing they could easily go back on this ceasefire, Pakistan should look at building up its ISR and UCAV capabilities to restart operations in a more higher tempo and to comprehensively cover all TTP safe havens, as part of a wider COIN strategy, IF NECESSARY. I saw this interesting video on how south vietnam and the US might have been able to win the war, and how the tempo and ISR capabilities really can make a difference.

The implications for Pakistan, to cover the restive areas in its own western provinces as well as inside Afghan safe heavens seems similar and worth sharing.
