The solution doesn't lie in Qatar,it lies within the Pak-Afghan region itself. The PTI cabinet should consider appointing Retired General Tariq as a security advisor, his deep understanding of the area and expertise in managing border security make him an ideal candidate. Additionally, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police require modern weaponry and greater operational autonomy.

Crucially, local tribal communities must be actively involved in peace negotiations. They should be entrusted with responsibility for preventing terrorist activities, with the Pakistan Army providing full support and security to ensure their success. Given Pakistan's limited financial resources, fully staffing and securing the Pak-Afghan border remains a significant challenge.
what helps is that Gen Tariq Khan has soft spot for PTI/ Imran and is from Tank , a proven vetern and a winning general ..so it will be great if this really happens and Pindi should support such mobve.
but this to happen, PTI must appoint him and he shouldnt be sent as chief secretary or a governor by the centre which will be seen PTI as a threat.,

I don t know , its my personal opinion. But, I noticed Gen Tariq is well respected on both side. If someone recommend him from anyside. If I had twitter account, I would have tweet and tag KPK PTI govt.

Unless Trump is getting something huge out of it (more monetarily than diplomatically, like minerals, base, noble, containment, etc.), he will not be involved. He is a businessman before a president.

Good point

I think time is close to start wacking their leadership.

Diplomatically they have made so many missteps since May fighting.

Antagonising Trump, staying neutral when US/Israel bombed Iran, backing Talibs, running off to China.

Just rally bizarre. As a result no one really trusts them of knows they can reply on them

Chinese - India is a market for them and they have Pakistan to keep them in check
US - Trump no cannot stand Modi, and after May India seems to have lost a lot of it's strategic value
Russia - India will now stop buying Russian oil, Putin not gonna be happy
Iran - No support at all from India and Chahbahar Port now finished
Israel - Indians voting against them but also voicing support
Saudis - Big finger to India via SMDA
Qataris - Do not let Indians in sensitive posts now after Submarine spy scandal
Turks - Enough said, Indian public boycott of Turkey has probbaly come as a relief for the residents of Istanbul

Then they now publicly back Taliban.

Serious issues at their Foreign Ministry I think. They are seasoned diplomats, so the Tea Seller will obviously take advice from them.

Indian foreign policy failures come at time of great progress in this regard fbu pakistan after now maintaining stable relations with us russia euro and china all of whose relations with Pakistan has improved allowing us to be both president of UNSC and UNHRC at the same time whilst also allowing us to continue economic focus and allows us to continue our defensive and offensive strategy against india and Afghanistan with impunity. Certain members on forum will have choice words for government but i want to ask them if they could imagine this day some 2-3 years ago in the midst of political and financial crisis
