From day one of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan i was against them, while most of the Pakistan was celebrating. I got a lot of hate for that. Being called anti Pushtoon hate mongerer . But i feel like i was right.

Funnily enough, the last king of Afghanistan was a pretty good ruler and was transforming his country economically. He was also friendly towards Pakistan, and expanded both trade and political ties with Islamabad.

He was overthrown by the "Pashtunistan" fool known as Daoud Khan, who ended up destroying his country with his policies, before being couped himself.

Also, it is time to do away with the March 23 parades; or at least simplify it. A really powerful army doesn't need to strut and display its weapons. In fact a representative peoples army only uses these parades on rare occasions to make an outreach to the people of their nation, They are the husbands wives. daughters, brothers, and sisters of the people they are defending. A truly representative army CONNECTS with its people that it protects.
The 250th US Army day parade was an eye opener. The powerful Abrams M1A2 tank crew members waived to the crowds with cheers and thunderous applause, A truly impressive and emotionally moving sight !

Their raiders, but in a siege, especially without reinforcements of supplies, they will capitulate in the ways that matter, soon enough. Remember the fall of Panjshir.

For Pakistan, having Afghanistan held as basically a pariah by all its neighbors is the best outcome. Limits their options and hastens negotiations, as we saw with today’s ceasefire announcement.

Yep , simple calculation ....how many Americans and other NATO personal were killed by these super duper warriors and how many Afghans were killed.....I guess the ratio would be at least 500 to 1 .

The settlement they want is to erode Pakistan and share the spoils with India, where they take KP and Balochistan and Pakistan is either left a broken state or taken by India

We have tried the way of courting the Taliban for 30 years, that policy is a disaster and anybody that advocates it is as clueless as the ones who advocated for it since the last 30 years.

Its the Taliban symathersiers who are in the wrong. Asim Munir got his command much later and is trying to eradicate the problem and sending the illegal Afghans, who have no love for Pakistan, back, just like every country in the world operates. Sending illegal Afghans back to Afghanistan is as per law, but what is army doing to actually secure the border and stop smuggling?
