weren't poster here saying its a deal with talis only and we can strike ttp as much as we want . i guess its time

As a matter of reality -- Some sporadic TTP attacks will continue to happen due to the presence of TTP fighters inside our areas as we continue our IBOs -- that does not mean we will start bombing Afghanistan.

We start bombing them when this agreement is violated --- That means, when we detect another 'Tashkeel' trying to sneak into our land --- or when the intelligence reports on ground confirm whether the attacks were planned from Afghanistan's soil and whether any practical steps have been taken by the IEA to honor this agreement or not.

So -- wait for some days -- we'll see how things unfold.

Arab qom has really over-reached on this. Not sure who they think they actually are. Instead of throwing a hissy fit over their lack of geopolitical utility, and demanding some bizarre "involvement" in everyone else's peace negotiations, they should seriously consider self-reflection upon their true worth - hint: Qatar is NOT the "Switzerland" of the Middle East.

And naturally, our chamchay politicians have rushed over to GCC at the drop of a hat, ready to ignore the wishes of the Pakistani people because some Arab said "jump for us".

Qatar and KSA had ZERO business telling us to engage in peace talks.

Their shuttle diplomacy was on show in May also - I don't think we listened to them then. But it remains a recurring theme and will be a problem in every future conflict.

Sick to my stomach reading their statements of "two brotherly nations" when one of the regimes in question is pure form namak haraam.

Bro you sure? Never heard of this. The UK has a far bigger population and their women wouldn't even spit on them.

Bro, 100% happening in Australia. Have siblings in UK (greater Manchester) who tell me this exact thing. These afghans are brain-washed.

Hard power matters. It's a new order: punitive deterrence where cost will be distributed.....

That's true. I worked shortly with a German company that booked cruise tours over Danube River and during a data Analysis which involved analysis of nationalities, every single Afghan female had a partner that was Caucasian/Indian/Jew. Never saw any of them with any Pakistani/Afghan/Far Eastern/African/South American. We used to wonder why they are the only nationality that do not marry their own countrymen.

From what I understood, the ones who managed to escape abroad, marry anyone other than Afghan or Pakistani, as they do not want to ever be taken back to Afghanistan.

But yes, of course there is too much hatred in them for Pakistanis anyway ... and they are super racist to all other nationalities.

What were Pakistan's demands?

Out of Jointly agreed points, these were specifically modified by Pakistan:
  • No Hostile Actions/Support for Attacks: Neither country will undertake any hostile actions against the other, nor will they support groups carrying out attacks against the other's government nor as a proxy to another country.
  • Refrain from Targeting: Both sides will refrain from targeting each other's security forces, civilians, or critical infrastructure.
  • Dialogue to Resolve Issues: Both sides are committed to resolving issues and disputes through dialogue and commit to taking back refugees
Points Pakistan specifically added:
  • Cross-border terrorism will cease immediately
  • Respect for Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity (there is confusion here, Pakistan initially said that Afghanistan agreed on Durand line on account of this point, Afghanistan is denying it).

Pakistan made the wrong decision. The talks in Doha shouldn't have been attended.
You have to understand that Pakistan has large swaths of Pashtoon areas that are sympathetic to Afghan and Talibs. Make of it whatever you will but people tend to fall within their racial/ethnic groups more than we like to to admit.

We also have a PTI issue at home, a mainly pashtoon political party which feels being victimized by the state for holding Khan without cause.

This Doha meeting and agreement shows that we tried. Diplomacy doors are open. But ttp will not back down. And afghan Talib will not stop supporting ttp. Afghan Talib are mercenaries now. They accepted cash payment from Hindus for attacking Pak and they will fulfill their contract.

Mullah Yaqoobs phone must be blowing up with text messages from RAW during the meeting.
