Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

A great question. It doesn't have to be openly discussed.

Quiet contemplation is a great place to start
Considering all the premature ejections of positive emotions that Pakistanis take in every sphere of life - I would probably consider laziness as one factor and misuse of faith and self belief.

However, in this plain context - the simple aspect was Taliban wanted a win because otherwise they had a pretty sour face at home with many of their shura and the Qataris obliged that.

In the long run it matters little but what matters is where the relationship goes from here and if Pakistan is back to managing two hostile borders as it has had to do for the majority of its existence.

Much like dumb lottery winners - Pakistan tends to look for quick short gains and celebrates it to death then ends up bankrupt again to return back where it started.

Pretty sure it didn’t happen without consulting with Pakistan.

Great points..... hard work, temperance, The long game, saburr,

I guess everyone is addicted to the sugar rush of tweets and clips

Sindoor 2...... This might be the start of it.

Sindoor 2...... This might be the start of it.

the start of it/change will begin when pakistanis learn to look at themselves for their failures, instead of looking at the next person to point out their failures to make themselves feel better.

in any normal country
Lost men during sindoor+airbases hit->this was not great, we need to ensure this does not happen again, men cant be replaced, aircraft can.

anyway, all in all, another L for Pakistan after having the upper hand. 2025 not been great. Pak gets the upper hand then fumbles it all lol
Time after time after time, like a perpetual and infernal machine built only to self-harm, it is the politicians of this qom who destroy and undo the hard graft put in by the military and the common tax paying folk.

To anyone who sees PDF as some battleground for their personal political preferences - I have news for you - every Pakistani politician for the last 30 years has been a thoroughbred, by cock and pie, son of a bitch. Some of them certainly talk a good talk! But when it truly comes to the crunch, when a tough decision ought to be made for the long term interests of Pakistan, they are proved to be incapable.

Digressing, could I, or some one else ( moderators) start a thread emphasizing the need for Pakistanis, both civilian social media activists and civil defense volunteers to acquire enemy language skills to monitor social media, and snoop on their audio-visual communications and websites. Additionally we should impersonate and infiltrate their websites and forums to create a little distraction. Earlier, when social media was not that developed, the Pakdef forum members did this very effectively with the help of a few Indian Muslim members.

I see a distressing lack of awareness and familiarity with most enemy languages ( there are 21 to choose from) and most importantly Sanskritized Hindi in the Devanagari script. After Partition Pakistan had a rich resource of enemy language speakers when 10-15 million Muslims migrated speaking every possible language in the rest of the enemy territory and population base. fluent in Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, (even obscure languages such as Ao Nagamese, Tulu, Konkani, Bhojpuri, Pahadi ). Our founding father Qaid E Azam was himself familiar with Gujarati and Marathi. Our foreign minister Agha Shahi spoke fluent Tamil. The 1971 disaster robbed us of 50% of our language resources
As the Partition generation dies off, our language resources in the rest of Pakistan dwindle with unfortunate consequences .
A telling example is the incident of monitoring of the Mumbai police radio chatter in Marathi during the 26/11 terrorist attacks and the subsequent Marathi language FIR delivered to our foreign ministry which was unintelligible. A familiarity with Marathi would have helped immensely in giving a prompt response, and deferred allegations of collusion and delayed response.
I have personally struggled to acquire some fluency in written and spoken modern sanskritized Hindi by self study on-line.. However my skills are pretty basic. I can however pronounce correctly saying Bee-haar instead of Bahaar when referring to a province in Eastern India on the Nepal border,
Starting this thread and discussing will enable us to understand the nuances of enemy culture and language that directly impact an armed conflict.
Example: If the Kumaoni mountain division is deployed alongside of the Mahars or Nagland regiment there are likely to be logistics problems in running the field canteens and food supplies.

Forget Indian languages, I'm busy learning Pashto at the moment.

Learned to count 1-10 in Pashto so far. 😂

Currently in Pak so gonna tone this down a bit lol...

but until we as a people all unite, for whats right, for the future of our country, it wont get any better.

however, until we start looking into ourselves as individuals, we are not worth uniting, it would be like a coalition of the arabs fighting the israelis, would fall apart fast.

once we have decided we are all equals, no better than one another and are all contributors to the flawed, unjust system that runs our country, then its the only time we can really unite to make a change, giving whatever qurbani is needed. After all, our elders gave the ultimate qurbani, and i, alongside many others would be willing to do so again lol

saudi defence pact paying off.

jokes aside, i didnt know talibs and pak were on equal footing in front of these states, these things, such as borders and cross border terrorism is insane to me that they're negotiables, particularly to long standing allies...
Pakistan pushed to legitimize Taliban to these states especially during IK government. Now they treat Taliban on equal footing with Pakistan.

that was for indians i dont think pak military thinks like this , we are fighting with people that still bring 93000 into debates. do you really think any military publicly accepts failures . this was a stupid point you made ,to make assumption about Pakistan's military thinking by what Pakistanis on social media say to Indians

I don't know why this is an issue.

The United Nations recognising the Durand Line as the permanent International Border that also includes Afghanistan.

For the last 78 years, Afghanistan has made no effort to have this amended. It's a dead issue.

If anything, it might just give Afghans some face saving exit so they don't feel they had their country bombed left, right and centre and they couldn't do anything about it.

Bahi why are you learning positive things? Everyone knows when learning a new language you always learn curse words first. Golden rule 😅🤣

agree but its disrespectful and the intention is the big thing . like how dare they make these demands . imagine if india did these things we would never let this go even though they are bigger and powerful than us ,so why still are we accepting this from afg .
Have the Afghans approached the United Nations to have this amended? If not, why not?
