Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

Out of Jointly agreed points, these were specifically modified by Pakistan:
  • No Hostile Actions/Support for Attacks: Neither country will undertake any hostile actions against the other, nor will they support groups carrying out attacks against the other's government nor as a proxy to another country.
  • Refrain from Targeting: Both sides will refrain from targeting each other's security forces, civilians, or critical infrastructure.
  • Dialogue to Resolve Issues: Both sides are committed to resolving issues and disputes through dialogue and commit to taking back refugees
Points Pakistan specifically added:
  • Cross-border terrorism will cease immediately
  • Respect for Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity (there is confusion here, Pakistan initially said that Afghanistan agreed on Durand line on account of this point, Afghanistan is denying it).
None is specifically blaming Asghan or they agreeing to anything, just a general text where both are expected to same thing, as both are blamed for same.

There is nothing what Pakistan demanded or accused is mentioned specifucally.

This text can be used between countries or for any street fight.

If these are the actual terms and conditions, then Pakistan failed Diplomatically......

Currently in Pak so gonna tone this down a bit lol...

but until we as a people all unite, for whats right, for the future of our country, it wont get any better.

however, until we start looking into ourselves as individuals, we are not worth uniting, it would be like a coalition of the arabs fighting the israelis, would fall apart fast.

once we have decided we are all equals, no better than one another and are all contributors to the flawed, unjust system that runs our country, then its the only time we can really unite to make a change, giving whatever qurbani is needed. After all, our elders gave the ultimate qurbani, and i, alongside many others would be willing to do so again lol

Very good idealistic speech. Like the ones student give at school graduation ceremonies. Something like world peace, eliminating hunger etc. 👍🏼

You've put it in a nice way...

The TTP/BLA etc. were only Pak's problem. Now, it's become everybody's problem. Pakistan has shown her intent to go all the way if $hit hits the fan. Both the West and Russia want Afganistan to be a buffer state. Thanks to the Taliban's becoming slaves of the Hindutva that may be gone. And, it'll be great for China's BRI project....

Unlike the USA and USSR, the Pak Deep State can absorb enormous pains for its strategic goals....
Another crucial aspect that many people miss is the fact that Afghan Taliban are now the rulers and not the freedom fighters. Fighting a guerrilla war (and that too with active support and backing from FATA) is one thing and running a government and fighting a regular war is totally a different ballgame.

While ruling and running a country of Afghanistan's size, TTA cannot resort to hit and run tactics. They have to sit in public places/offices to run the government and so become a sitting duck for the planes or drones flying overhead. Pakistan can target the officials of Taliban regime in their offices/hideouts with precision strikes and either eliminate them or force them to go underground. In the latter case, it will be almost certain that anti-Taliban factions will route these fools and capture the Afghan power centers.

The TTA terrorists will not be able this time to run into the caves or Pakistani areas for refuge. Quite opposite, Pakistan too will target these murderers and terrorists. There will be no out cry in world capitals either because Afghan Taliban have already exposed themselves as global terrorists.

It's, therefore, Afghan Taliban's own choice to give up terrorism and prove themselves as a responsible regime or follow the path of terrorism that leads to their own death and destruction.

I don't know why this is an issue.

The United Nations recognising the Durand Line as the permanent International Border that also includes Afghanistan.

For the last 78 years, Afghanistan has made no effort to have this amended. It's a dead issue.

If anything, it might just give Afghans some face saving exit so they don't feel they had their country bombed left, right and centre and they couldn't do anything about it.
Sir, looks like it is a desire of some people to make it an issue.

It is just embarrassing to watch such parchi journalists make a fool of themselves representing the Pakistani position in front of international media. If all you are going to do is to regurgitate ISPR propaganda points in broken English, it is better to stay away.

Is this really a serious point ?
Absolutely , it is a serious point. Militarily Pakistan needs to plan for all eventualities , including fighting a multifront war. Always expect and prepare for the unexpected and plan for the worst case scenarios. Plan for both external and internal threats ; as we saw recently the use of internal traitors and the disastrous internal attacks on Iran that had catastrophic results on Iranian Morale and defense. Pakistan's layered defense needs to extend into enemy territory to ensure the war does not come onto our soil.

Media training should be mandatory if you want to appear in front be international media.

A lot of journalists are good at writing articles, but have no idea how to speak or express themselves properly, so resort to talking points.

Then what is ISI doing in India??? When will tit for tat be done?
Pak Intel is active in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The targets that PAF drones and aircrafts had targeted were marked and then confirmed by intel on the ground. In India, there are Pak intel agents installed in different departments, who give inside reports of GOI, defense, civil, technology, health, R&D sectors etc.

Idk doesn't seem imaginary to me and besides if it is imaginary why do these retards shriek about cross border attacks

It's been like that for easily 25 years now.

TBF making things up on the fly is a unique skill that most people don't have, the thing about media training is that its essentially about being as vague and non committal with your answer as possible and more about side stepping the question then answering it, of course you have genuine retards like the former ISI chief that called the APS kids as "collateral" In front of Mehdi Hasan atleast it was a good look into how these bastards think about bloody civilians.
