Pakistan should reign in on hawkish amateurs masquerading as intellectuals fuming unnecessary conflicts.

Yes after a thorough 3 month campaign focused on eliminating every single TTTP/BLA base in Afghanistan.

Attacks are still continuing, only difference now talibs have an agreement not to be targeted :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

They are rebuilding stock in talib safehouses as we speak.

These skirmishes provide space for conventional and unconventional merchants of chaos.

Pakistanis should allow for internal consumption in Afghanistan whatever narrative suits them and allow for them to choose as per their wisdom to not come between Pakistan and their proclaimed enemies.

If you have actionabale intelligence, why don't you share that with the authorities instead of laughing about it. Mature nations don't let paranoia nor insecurity dictate their affairs.

C'mon Jango, you know you're being disingenuous with that equivalence.

Just highlighting the absurdity of the other side of the aisle.

Geopolitics is much more nuanced that the zero sum game presented here.

The implication here is, I assume, that Imran Khan would have found some way of negotiating that would preserve a peaceful status quo.

The question then becomes, why should these barbarians to our west be appeased by anyone, whether it's Khan, hybrid regime, or anybody?

They simply do not recognise the Durand Line! They are an equivalent threat as Hindustan. No amount of appeasement will alter this ground reality. A solution is required for this impasse.

I sincerely hope the next round will be decisive and brutal against the Kabuli regime. I believe it is only a matter of time now.
It's not a matter of appeasing anyone, simply a matter of doing what's best for yourself, through the best possible means. Everyone can have a different approach to the same solution. Heck, even faujis themselves have different approaches.

The Afghans do not recognize the Durand line? Alright, to hell with them then. We have the military advantage right now, realize that advantage and be decisive about it.

But now it seems har banday ka chacha taya is mamlay main agaya hai including Turkey. Taliban are getting Qatar to change their statements...so would be interesting how we play it now. Reportedly IEA was presented two options, kill them with us, or let us kill them. Don't see them accepting either soon.

It isn't about Imran Khan anymore.

Jinnah has reportedly said that Pakistanis and Afghans are brothers and no power on earth can separate them.

We should continue to refer to Afghanistan as a brotherly Muslim neighbor on an official level because that's our ideological stance since forever
For better or for worse

While pulling all sorta shenanigans to keep our borders stable
Or at least try to keep them stable

I would much rather prefer that than "nuke Afghanistan" like some sorta 14 y/o idiots

Brotherhood - but with a distance
Slap them around here and there including punitive usage of trade linkages when they're getting out of line

Much better for our PR

When have we heard him? We tend to defy his guidance and sayings in evey way possible.

Yes, Muhammad Ali Jinnah explicitly referred to Afghanistan and Pakistan as "Brotherly Nations" . However, this expression of goodwill and friendship from Jinnah was unilaterally offered by Pakistan and one sided and was not reciprocated by the Afghan government at the time, which refused to even accept Pakistan.

Despite Jinnah's overtures, the official Afghan government's position was politically hostile, driven by its non-recognition of the Durand Line and its support for the "Pakhtunistan" demand. This overshadowed Jinnah's efforts and resulted in strained relations despite all his attempts, exemplified by Afghanistan's vote against Pakistan's entry into the UN in 1947.

The only thing this proves is that starting from Jinnah, we have been trying to be friends to them but they have been hostile to us form the get go.
Correct.

The Afghans are solely responsible for the hostility between both nations.

This could end tomorrow, and all the Afghans have to say is "we recognize the international Durand Line border between Afghanistan and Pakistan", and the conflict end.

But they never will, because they're Pashtun supremacists and racists. They can never bring themselves to make the sensible decision as a nation.

Was flagged multiple times- she is a real POS. Her family has investments all over Pakistan. Good Pakistan can seize them all under 174 PPC.

they got a very favourable CM in KP now who is openly hostile towards Pindi and very pro Afghanistan. so this might become Pindi/ Islamabad vs Peshawar battle soon.
