In this case they're now a conventional force, even if they want to pretend otherwise.

They'll slow down, but they'll have no choice but to keep operating, or risk losing conventional strength.

IE Afghanistan v Pakistan over Territory
Or
Pakistani military saying you cannot operate internationally on your own with your own autonomy especially with India whom is a threat to Pakistan existence ...

And if you do we will force a change in your govt ...

My understanding the Taliban is in power

Man I have to say it's proper mess
I think we need to ask why is Europe so rich prosperous and peaceful generally and
Ukraine aside of course

And the same in south America and south east Asia

Then we see all the trouble terror activities etc in middle east and south Asia ..

I think the answer is clear link you want peace and prosperity or war and division to remain poor for the rest of your lives

The problem is alot deeper. Usa was in Afghanistan for 20 years and could not control cross border movements, Pakistan itself has been trying to secure its borders for 20 years and cannot so how can we expect Taliban a militia to do this, they have no capability. Taliban also fear ttp will join ISIS and attack them.
