KAAN: multiple 5th gen prototypes.
KF-21: In low rate production, 4.9 gen, will be true 5th gen in future blocks.
AMCA: 5th gen, still on paper, no actual work have been done on building a prototype.
All the technologies are being developed , AMCA will take time . Great things take time .
iron bird test facility will operational by 2028

OK, so can we not just say PAC is now developing a 8th Gen fighter called ACHAA (Advanced Combat High Altitude Aircraft)?

ACHAA has new super advanced long range missile called AMI (Advanced Missile Interceptor)

This is paired with super advanced called PIAR (Pakistan Industries Advanced Radar)

On paper combo of ACHAA, AMI, PIAR can take on F-22 and J-36 and NGAD.

See how pointless these stupid posts are!?
Sure pakistan can do , but bro everything needs money .

So to Yasser and the others

You are being sarcastic and critical to India for attempting to design build and induct a fifth generation fighter of its own

With it's own radars weapons and eventually engines ...

You think they should just import like Pakistan

Is this your point

India believes it has the people and the military industrial complex to make Amca a reality

I believe them not out of paitrotic blindness but hard facts

Their military industrial complex is working
For
Isro the space programme
Nuclear powered submarines
Guided missle destroyers and frigates
Air craft Carriers
Cruise missles
Sam's
Drones
Radars
Helicopters

They have a track record

They may take the sweet time but I believe this💯 happen

Hmm it will happen but HAL might delay if selected

It had to be said.

What's surprising is that this long article is authored [supposedly] by an 'air marshal.' It would have sufficed if he had only written the last part since the few lines in there appear the ones that he actually wants notice to be taken on.

pakistan is 230-250 milion people country she should be able to develop fighter jet

I can respect the ambition, but considering the track record, by the time the prototype fir the AMCA is ready, Pakistan will have multiple squadrons of 5th gen, and will actively be looking into 6th gen.

tbh they have no choice no one else will sell them 5th gen jets

Pakistan's GDP is $400 billion (probably less, due to government posting false statistics), it's last year budget was $62 billion, and official defense budget of $10 billion, with it unofficially being between $15-$20 billion (90% goes to just paying salaries and maintaining current equipment).

What money does Pakistan have to fund such a project?

Project Azm failed due to both lack of resources, and not enough knowledge and industry. PFX is more reasonable in its goals, but even that's looking like it won't achieve what it promised.
