This is assuming the higher education in Muslim majority countries is shit.
There is that stereotype in the West and in China and Japan.
With exception of Turkey, Malaysia, and the prestigious KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Which is better.
Morocco and Uzbekistan may have one very good institution as well.
Even India could be an alternative, but India is an enemy of Pakistan. You need to be aware of that.
The Indian Institutes of Technology I heard are pretty good.
I mentioned Aga Khan University in Pakistan. Which is Pakistan's best institution arguably.Actually, even Pakistani universities are capable of producing decent professionals and I believe the standard of education in Pakistan is getting better.
As for India, it is my perception that Indian educational system has been better than Pakistan on all levels. When I speak with my many cousins in India and with my many cousins in Pakistan, I have to humbly accept the Indian education is better. But my generation of Pakistanis is old and the schools in Pakistan are getting better and better.
On the whole, getting a college degree even from a mid-tier Pakistani accredited university would not be a bad investment in one's future.
Nothing to feel embarrassed about if the Indian educational system is better than Pakistan's.Actually, even Pakistani universities are capable of producing decent professionals and I believe the standard of education in Pakistan is getting better.

they are not stupid, these loopholes exist to outbid local resident workers
but, if any body thinks, exploiting these loopholes would change their lives, is seriously mistaken
I know 1 family, who immigrated to Chicago in late 80s, their child has a big business now, married a daughter of congress man....
but..
his days are numbered bec. he has been diagnosed cancer; he exploited every system he could in the USA!
(own trucking business in Wisconsin)
but life is funny, all of their family is nearly bankrupt, only achievement in their lives is that, they have US passport, they will repeatedly tell me!
I believe them, they are happy but live on paycheck to paycheck
I know a director of Delliotte in LA too, earns in millions but he also cannot hide, he looses at that rate as well, only thing he has to show is his big car and house at mountain side
besides that, there is nothing good in his life, only fear of loosing everything
Nothing to feel embarrassed about if the Indian educational system is better than Pakistan.
It takes maturity and wisdom to acknowledge that our enemy is better than us in some areas.
Exactly what the Chinese and Japanese are trying to do. They are trying to outcompete their opponents.Yes, being competitive from a personal level to the national level is what's needed to advance to the next stage of our individual or national existences. So I always acknowledge others' strengths, especially if the gains come from austerity, diligence and hard work.
1) Could the son not handle the business, or are they expending more than what's coming in?
2) That director, either he's purposely living beyond his means or just stupid.
1. he had piles bec. of severe depression and constant sleep deprivation bec, of business pressure, he business survived, only he is struggling now, his white wife, extremely nice lady, American values are great, have to admit.
2. living in LA has downsides too!
(uncontrollable expenses)
(his father in law asked him to loan him 20k GBP, he could not afford to give him 20K GBP)
bec. he is in constant fear, if he looses LA life style, he will loose all
You are correct. "But!" I heard Turkey is accepting international students for their Law programs because it is EU standards. You can google this.Turkey?? I hear expat living in Turkey is hard because so few of them speak English, unlike in Pakistan. I assume the education is also not very English friendly in Turkey but I don't know.
The irony in this vs thread titleYes, Egypt has one good university which is the American University of Cairo.
