Of course it will.

The US will face two options in such a hypothetical scenario:
Option 1: You can get a deal that greatly benefits the US by giving the US companies
hundreds of billions of dollars and reach a lasting peace with one of your adversaries.
Option 2: Continue the war with Iran and lose the rest of your navy, lose all of your military bases around Iran because the stakes will be too high for Iran's neighboring countries, thousands of soldiers, billions of dollars and even trillions of dollars after the US market crashes.

Even if Trump doesn't want to take the deal, the deep state will force him to do so or remove him from power one way or another. I believe all states, no matter who is at the top of command chain, act as rational agents in game theory.

So far, the US has been imposing heavy costs on Iran with little damage in return. The current situation encourages the US to continue the war. Everything is completely different in that hypothetical scenario.
