Not a stupid idea. Pakistan having a pact with Iran and KSA would mean (in theory anyway!) that both sides would not attack each other. That would go some way in helping to solve one of the biggest geopolitical challenges of the Muslim world. Imagine it, KSA and Iran finally making peace would make the Middle East UNSTOPPABLE!

Iran/Pak conflict will never results in a war, not after this whole war where Pakistan played a massive role in securing favorable terms for Iran to move forward, and no i am not taking away credit from them, they fought and paid a heavy price for what comes ahead, I think if we can get Iran-Pak gas pipeline, and Iran take out BLA leadership for us than I'd say its a win, we need Iran because we have India on one side (Galeez Nation) and a very volatile/hostile/suicidal Afghanistan, now Iran can help us keep the Balance as long as we fix our own house, plus with a strong sanction free Iran, we can be sure that no surprise Attack coming from the Western border except for Afghanistan.

I am not very hopeful that Iran will join the Defense PACT, we first have to see if Qatar joins, and if we build a 4 country Alliance with Pak-KSA-Egypt-Türkiye first. If that actually happen after that it will take few years for Iran to be comfortable with doing defense related business with the others.

People can be pessimistic and say this is ummah chummah talk going on - basically talk no action. But i think longer term this can bare fruit when conditions are right.

Pakistan also makes a very strong glue for the Muslim world, its strong military, non interference with other Muslim nations, foreign policy always pushing for brotherly relations and stopping conflicts, large population which is raw muscle to get stuff done, strategic location and potential put it in a good position.

Fix the house and the neighbours especially the Muslim world will be benefit hugely.

We don't have means to follow up on it, because any nuke stationed in Iran will bring US/EU Sanctions, and we cannot afford it due to bad economy and internal terrorism issue, we have India breathing stinky breath on necks from east, and Afghani kutte on the west ready to blow themselves up, we should first solidify Pact with KSA, and see if we can bring Qatar into it, then work on 4 country alliance which include Pak-KSa-Egypt-Turkey, if that materialize that's good, if not then we can work on other regional pacts but for that we need a lot more toys than we had, we need long/medium range AD systems, 1-2 squ of fighter jets armed with Pl-15's and much more.

No one mention the revival of ummah except some youtubers, you really think that when leaders of Muslim world meet or get together they be like, hey lets revive the Ummah and elect a Khalifa to rule us all? I don't see why you bring this concept just to mock it when no one except some cringe youtubers talk about it, those small alliances are just regional alliances nothing can be equal to the real idea of a Muslim nation, which is impossible to build today unless divine help comes, whenever it comes.
