Isreal is the primary tool they use to dominate the region and the isrealis are not pivoting to the east, they are not returning to eastern europe. To the contrary they envision conquering the entire region.

I do wonder what the technical limitations/issues are that need to be resolved before Egypt can join? Is the peace deal with Israel the reason? Are there limitations in that framework that stop Egypt participating in this new Makkah Treaty? Is Egypt looking at clarifications ?

America is asking middle powers to take responsibility of their respective regions security... it's a stated policy of USA.... Shia in Pakistan exactly same like Shia in Iran. They would die but will not against go India same as Shia in Pakistan would die but will not say any world against Iran.

No I think they are on balance, sincere about retracting to a good extent.


Remembering that with technology you don't need physical presence.

how? will this alliance attack israel ? then yes , welcome , geography can happily force us.
will it attack iran ? then no , geography can't force us since we don't share border with them.

As alleged, its a defence pact so if Saudi Arabia is invaded or attacked, then they will be defended, its beneficial if Egypt joins aswell, they can argue against if the pact will be used against Yemen or Iran but if it is actually just a defence pact then why not, Egypt will have access to advance military technology, can produce parts etc, plus guranteed assistance if ever under attack, Egypt can also bring Jordan and pacify UAE and bring them on board aswell. Pakistan and Turkey wouldn't mind Egypt and Iran joining it but at the moment Iran is impossible, the issues with Usa and Saudis need to be sorted out first.

Iranians will come around when they see how this alliance operates. Until then, they are being cautious. You can’t blame them for being suspicious, but considering none of the three nations want to face Iranian retaliation.

This alliance seems more Red Sea focused.
