Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Hit with what mental gymnastics? If Iran could not hit and sink one US carrier during the war, how would it do it now? Don't get me wrong, I would love for that to actually happen, but only if wishes were horses... wanting and having the ability to actually carry it out are two different things.

Iran has got plenty of missiles it could hit them with.

If the US Navy did not find Iran a threat, it would not be hiding away in Pakistani territorial waters.

Iran should absolutely ignore exactly where the US Navy is and hit them where they are.

You know what i'm thinking about?

Imagine if this 30-40k Pakistani troops were stationed right at the border with India, would Indians still dare to rape Kashmiri women and innocent girls, like one of their fathers said 'i swear to almighty not even the sun had seen the face of my poor daughter'?

Well, you very well said, i am a silly commentator. Pakistan has its own national interests. It even allowed Sharif to hug smelly Modi in the middle of street.

Bro, please can we get back to the topic and we should not reference such a sensitive Issue as regards The grave violations in Kashmir.

In a normal war, I don't think Iran will go this road....this is just a warning against the "nuke them" fantasies

Iran acted very smartly.

For many years Iran watched silently as all these cables were build and laid down in the oceans.
Big Tech from US established bases in the Arabian peninsula.
All companies of the world became heavily digitalized and dependent on these cables.

And in all these years, Iran only cleverly watched and did nothing....and now Iran can cash in 🤩

Not only are these cables weapons as threatning as nukes, they are also the biggest money printing machines in world history.....imagine if Iran would only put a 0.1% tax on the data transfer....Irans future looks very very wealthy 🤑 🤑 🤩 🤩

Yeah but that hasn't happened so far. There hasn't even been an escalation from the US and Co yet.

It doesn’t seem that an attack by the U.S. is imminent before the mid terms, though precautions must still be taken

The U.S. has not evacuated tankers from Qatar, Brent crude is back at $110 already, US diesel prices remain near all time highs, US inflation came in above expectations meaning further interest rate hikes are coming, US bond yields remain very high, the US SPR is at 40 year lows with minimal remaining buffers, and US interceptor stockpiles are much lower than the start of the war. Meanwhile, Iran has fully reconstituted its missile forces and command and control with new tactics and methods.

These are not good conditions for the U.S. to restart the war. Therefore, the U.S. will probably want any resumption of the war to be intense but short (and IRI / reformists will grant their wishes and accept a ceasefire as soon as possible, as usual).

What in your opinion will happen after midterms?

There doesn't have to be a escalation.

At the final negotiatins, just as Iran will get money for ship transfer in the straight, Iran will also cash in for data transfer 😍

By the way, only the financial transactions through the cables amount to 10 trillion dollars....a day!!!
Multiply that with 365.....so even if Iran would only put a 0.0001% toll on it....🤑

Oh! My!

Even @Persian Gulf is feeling positive.

Then Trump and US must really be in a pickle.

As I (and small number of others) have been saying, the outcome of this war was decided in the first week.

The only thing to be decided is how much blood and treasure will be shed. That’s entirely upto Trump’s thirst for blood.

What I mean by outcome:

1. No colour revolution like the ones we saw in south Asian Muslim countries recently. Because their military leaders are CIA agents.

2. US retreat from Iran’s neighbourhood

3. Iranian sovereign control over SoH

4. Iran’s nuclear strategy will be decided by itself

5. Iran forges a path away from the petro dollar.

I still pop in that thread from time to time to see Persian Gulf and others dismantle 25 Battalion and Sc's propaganda "victories"!
Hey honestly I’m no fan of the war nor am I picking sides but facts are facts have a great day

You have an idea why Iran is deploying this strategy now leading up to mid terms or for Iran it's irrespective of midterms and will continue until Brent crude goes above $130 and gets sustained at that level for a month or so it even more ?

If this pressure can be suistianed for weeks and months it will force US to soften its demands, imo.

I still do not think Trump will sign a deal.

Same reason GWB and LBJ couldn’t stomach it despite the disasters they wrought.

The terms will be too humiliating.

It’s better to chug along then blame his successor for surrendering.

That’s what republicans did to Biden over Afghanistan retreat.

It’s more likely Trump will disengage and ask Europeans, Asians and Arabs to fend for themselves.

At which point, China and Arabs will come to understandings with Iran.

Trump will be severely limited by the democrats because they hate his guts. That’s the only thing the base and leadership agrees on.

Russia once again using Iran to better its own situation.

It’s important to point out that Russia would not be getting a sanctions relief or Trump kissing up to Putin if it weren’t for energy prices being as high as they are and Hormuz creating a tough political situation.

The question is what bargain has Russia made with the USA against Iran(other than oil prices) with regards to the upcoming restart of war against, in return for this concession(if any, of course)?

I think they want to cut off electricity in Iran to weaken the operations of military and law enforcement forces. Also, without electricity, they want to make a Syria style war in Iran

And - will Iran destroy Israel electricity infrastructure in return, or will that be considered haram? The fact that they are talking so openly about doing this is because they have not been deterred by Iran's approach to the war so far against Israel and its ability to impose a real cost on Israel. Now, is that limitation technical, or it is policy? If it is policy, then why ? If the war restarts, and Israel does make good on its threats, will Iran take also down Israel's electrical and energy infrastructure in return, that is the question.

Iran will lack the precision to take down bridges, but it should be able to hit oil refineries, power stations generators as these are very large targets relative to the slender profile of a bridge.

Every Iranian fan supporter wherther inside or outside Irán should be moderately optimistic.

Even if Irán didn´t play masterfully their estrategy during the war, the war is NOT OVER. And people frequently forget that war dynamics goes and come with successes and defeats, mistakes and achievements.

Some members (we know all who they are) are extremely frustrated with this strategy, but it is working.

1.- Iranian nuclear program remains active and completely out of western control (IMO it is the main success).

2.- Missile program is expanding in two dimensions (in numbers and in bases). This is another inquestionable success.

3.- Iran is managing and controlling the lethal effects of oil restrictions—not only in the Strait of Hormuz but also in the Bab el-Mandeb—with surprising effectiveness, and there are suspicions that it is benefiting from the problems Zelensky has created for Russia. To the point that Irán is without any doubt making money with oil and tolls. That is the third success.

But we must be realistic; this strategy has given rise to a number of concerning effects that require attention, lest they undermine those tactical victories.

1º.- Iranian inflation it is an unavoidable effect from the total economic war and siege over iranian population.

2º.- Baluchestan. Irán seems to be managing much better kurdish infiltration and problems, but not the same success with Baluchestan.

3º.- Arab/turkish coalition is growing because of success of this strategy of Irán in oil restrictions and saudi frustration in the war. This coalition could eventually stop the houthi successes if not disabled, and this neutralization should be done diplomatically and economically (the more success of houthies, the more reluctance of Turkey and Egypt to be involved in this war), because a kinetic direct strategy would push all region in a total war.

This war recall me the Africa campaign. Churchill was mad at Montgomery because he was reluctant to a direct confrontation to Rommel, and he just attacked when he had a tactical advantage, logistically, geografically and in numbers.
