Hit with what mental gymnastics? If Iran could not hit and sink one US carrier during the war, how would it do it now? Don't get me wrong, I would love for that to actually happen, but only if wishes were horses... wanting and having the ability to actually carry it out are two different things.
You know what i'm thinking about?
Imagine if this 30-40k Pakistani troops were stationed right at the border with India, would Indians still dare to rape Kashmiri women and innocent girls, like one of their fathers said 'i swear to almighty not even the sun had seen the face of my poor daughter'?
Well, you very well said, i am a silly commentator. Pakistan has its own national interests. It even allowed Sharif to hug smelly Modi in the middle of street.
People are uprising against saud family
In a normal war, I don't think Iran will go this road....this is just a warning against the "nuke them" fantasies
Iran acted very smartly.
For many years Iran watched silently as all these cables were build and laid down in the oceans.
Big Tech from US established bases in the Arabian peninsula.
All companies of the world became heavily digitalized and dependent on these cables.
And in all these years, Iran only cleverly watched and did nothing....and now Iran can cash in
Not only are these cables weapons as threatning as nukes, they are also the biggest money printing machines in world history.....imagine if Iran would only put a 0.1% tax on the data transfer....Iran future looks very very wealthy![]()

What in your opinion will happen after midterms? It doesn’t seem that an attack by the U.S. is imminent before the mid terms, though precautions must still be taken
The U.S. has not evacuated tankers from Qatar, Brent crude is back at $110 already, US diesel prices remain near all time highs, US inflation came in above expectations meaning further interest rate hikes are coming, US bond yields remain very high, the US SPR is at 40 year lows with minimal remaining buffers, and US interceptor stockpiles are much lower than the start of the war. Meanwhile, Iran has fully reconstituted its missile forces and command and control with new tactics and methods.
These are not good conditions for the U.S. to restart the war. Therefore, the U.S. will probably want any resumption of the war to be intense but short (and IRI / reformists will grant their wishes and accept a ceasefire as soon as possible, as usual).
Yeah but that hasn't happened so far. There hasn't even been an escalation from the US and Co yet.

Hey honestly I’m no fan of the war nor am I picking sides but facts are facts have a great dayI still pop in that thread from time to time to see Persian Gulf and others dismantle 25 Battalion and Sc's propaganda "victories"!
You have an idea why Iran is deploying this strategy now leading up to mid terms or for Iran it's irrespective of midterms and will continue until Brent crude goes above $130 and gets sustained at that level for a month or so it even more ?
If this pressure can be suistianed for weeks and months it will force US to soften its demands, imo.
