'I could have stayed in power if...': Hasina alleges US sought regime change in Bangladesh

What goes on in the madrassas of the Indian subcontinent is no secret; you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Are radical Hindus supposed to be different? Have you forgotten Brahmin bigots came up with an entire book of sex positions to use with their lower-caste Dravidian Devadasi sex slaves? You think those cultural practises of Sanatan disappeared? Check it out, that's not the case:

Which planet are you on at the moment?

Rarely a day goes by without Modi, Shah, yogi calling for violence against Muslims. Refer to the London Economist!

In the U.K. you have Suela Braverman, Priti Patel, Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage et al Recent far right riot is an example.

In the US Trump calling for people to be beaten up and virtually every republican politician and lots of democrats.
So your proof is asking me what planet im on at the moment?
I will ask you once again for direct evidence of violence against minorities. Not here say or insinuations - actual proof of statements encouraging violence against minorities.

'I could have stayed in power if...': Hasina alleges US sought regime change in Bangladesh

Hasina's son previously said protests were likely instigated by a foreign intelligence agency

Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, now residing in India, has accused the United States of playing a role in her removal from power.

In a statement quoted by the Economic Times, Hasina claimed she could have remained in office had she been willing to compromise Bangladesh's sovereignty, particularly by surrendering Saint Martin Island and allowing US influence over the Bay of Bengal.

“I resigned so that I did not have to see the procession of dead bodies. They wanted to come to power over the dead bodies of students, but I did not allow it", the ousted Bangladeshi PM said.

"I could have remained in power if I had surrendered the sovereignty of Saint Martin Island and allowed America to hold sway over the Bay of Bengal," Hasina stated, urging her countrymen not to be manipulated by radical elements.

Saint Martin Island, a small 3-square-kilometer landmass in the Bay of Bengal, is situated near the southern tip of Bangladesh.

Hasina expressed deep sorrow over the violence and unrest that followed her resignation on August 5, amid growing student protests against the controversial quota system for government jobs.

The unrest, which included killings, harassment, and vandalism, led to concerns for Hasina’s safety, prompting her to leave Dhaka on a military aircraft. She is currently under protection at an undisclosed location in India.

“My heart cries upon receiving news that many leaders have been killed, workers are being harassed, and their homes are subjected to vandalism and arson. With the grace of almighty Allah, I will return soon".

"Awami League has stood up again and again. I shall forever pray for the future of Bangladesh, the nation which my great father strived for," she said.

Hasina also addressed the ongoing student protests, clarifying that her previous comments were distorted to incite unrest.

"I have never called you Razakars. My words were distorted to incite you. Conspirators have taken advantage of your innocence and used you to destabilize the nation," she said, urging students to view the full context of her statements.

Previously, during a parliamentary session, Hasina accused the US of attempting to orchestrate a regime change in Bangladesh.

Her son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, echoed these concerns, suggesting that the recent protests were likely instigated by a foreign intelligence agency, though he refrained from explicitly naming the US

The United States has been consistently critical of Bangladesh’s human rights record and electoral processes.
And why would USA give a damn for Bangladesh? Bangladesh does not pose a threat to USA interests.

Not everything is a conspiracy, you know.

Bangladesh doesn't pose any threat to U.S. interests, but India does and Bangladesh shares a border with India, during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, U.S. Seventh Fleet entered the Bay of Bengal to attack India. India and U.S. have often disagreed, especially when it comes to matters involving Pakistan.

Indian government's talk of reclaiming Pakistan-occupied Kashmir has raised concerns within the U.S. establishment. This time, they don't want a repeat of 1971. It seems they are preparing to be ready to launch an offensive against India at the right moment, preventing India from having sufficient troops and equipment to invade Pakistan

And USSR came to save India as well in 1971.

Today, India possesses sufficient resources to deter both the United States and Pakistan at the same time. However, conducting an operation similar to the 1971 inside Pakistan while simultaneously confronting U.S. could present challenges. Nonetheless, there is a solution to every problem, and I trust that India's military planners and government have devised strategies to address this potential situation effectively.

Bangladesh mob beats suspected supporters of ex-PM Hasina after rally call

Bangladesh mob beats suspected supporters of ex-PM Hasina after rally call

Hasina asks supporters to “pray for the salvation of all souls" outside her old family home; Bangladesh to decide whether to ask India to extradite her.

A mob wielding bamboo rods and plastic pipes beat several suspected supporters of Sheikh Hasina on Thursday, vowing to quash a rumoured rally for the ousted Bangladesh premier outside her childhood home.

Hasina, 76, fled by helicopter last week to neighbouring India, where she remains, as student-led protests flooded Dhaka’s streets in a dramatic end to her iron-fisted 15-year rule.

Thursday is the anniversary of the 1975 assassination of her father, independence hero Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, during a military coup — a date her government had declared a national holiday.

Previous years saw huge rallies around Bangladesh to mark the occasion, but the students who toppled Hasina were eager to ensure supporters of her Awami League party did not have a chance to regroup.

Please, again too much credit is given to the US. Look at trump and his supporters?republicans, such low IQ people are in power in the US now in many states.

Hasina simply overreached, the fear of dying without jobs and source was greater than the fear of dying to a bullet from a cop. The students had enough.

The US and india are now bhai bhai, there is no way they sanctioned a coup against Hasina to create instability and hurt Indian interests.

The woman is a narcissist with no limit whatsoever. The same goes for her retarded son. And her party can be likened to that of a cult - You know those insane cults doing weird stuff we see in movies and anime. They never learn to stand and lay back. Politics is a negotiation and not a zero sum game.

That being said, the U.S. had every reason to support India given China is a threat to both of them during the AL-era. This is even though the U.S. did not approve the practices of the ruling Awami League. The threat posed by China carried far more weight than human rights violations in a small country like Bangladesh. Yes, it is true that the U.S. was no fan of Hasina or the Sheikh family for that matter. But that there were more pressing matters to attend to.

How was she made to leave one may ask? CIA threatened her? ISI threatened her? The Chinese threatened her? No to all. Anyone who said otherwise is either ignorant or hoarding knowledge.

Here's what really happened in the lead up to her fleeing:
She instructed the military to open fire on the protesting students. The chiefs of the three armed services refused this order.

On the early hours of 5th August, there were hundreds of thousands of demonstrators out in the streets of Dhaka defying the curfew. The army chief warned that they will not be able to protect her from the angry mobs.

It was also said by the air chief that the only solution was ariel bombardment against the mobs. Of-course, this was flat out rejected.

Afterwards, she called the three heads traitors and fled with tears.

No one imagined that after 15 years in power, the Awami League would be gone in 15 days. Not even Hasina or her mindless minions.

See? No CIA. No ISI. And no China. Only power.
