11 is not 2nd tier
Thanks for pointing out. I had done it from memory hence a lot of inaccuracies. Here is the revised list:

S-Tier:
no. 5
no. 9
no. 11
no. 14
no. 15
(11 upgraded, no. 2 brought down to A-tier despite RM legacy since it's been a training sq for much of its history)

Three of these are F-16 sqds, one has just received J-10s. So probably 14 will receive the J-35s when the time comes.

A-tier:
no.s 2, 7, 8, 16 and 17

I expect 7 to convert to J-10s soon. Two or so of 17, 20 and 23 to Jf-17s with additional Jf-17 OCU as we approach the double digits of Jeff squadrons.

Then come the OCUs:
no.s 18, 19, 20, 22.

Finally the relative newer ones yet to build a legacy:
no.s 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 50

5 Sqd not really premier, only because it got Block 52, historically it has not been distingushed

I beg to differ:

"On 01 September 1965, even before full scale war had started, 5 Squadron had the distinction of shooting down 4 IAF Vampires in the very first air engagement of that day. During the 1965 war the squadron flew one hundred and ninety hours in various types of operations. Squadron Leader S A Rafiqui shot down 2 Vampires and 1 Hunter aircraft. "

My bad, always thought Rafiqui was number 11 for some reason

This latest PAF PR contains some interesting visual snippets regarding Pakistan's aerial combat against IAF in May.

I hope they confiscated civilian phones at the perimeter gate. Weird times we live in.

They do at all sensitive/important locations even smart watches. Just for example sakes, I've been to the president & pm houses a few times for events. Every time they took away not just my cellphones but also my smartwatch & once even my car's key fob (us din extra aafat ai hui thi shayad).
