I don't think China still needs to import aircraft fighter engines from Russia. There is a report today saying Russia is buying Chinese large destroyer O55 engines, largest Russian purchase so far. Vietnam is getting cozy with South Korea, Vietnam is switching from Russian arms supplies to SK, you are buying many weapons from SK and maybe doing military cooperation too, interesting.

hatred is a wrong word. we have a complicated history. and in recent times much to do with different political views in respect to USSR and Cambodia. Not much wth China itself. from the security threat China is clearly #1, the US #2 (or the West in general). that has never changed.
if not politcs or the dispute in the South china sea we are much favor of the Chinese. you see the 120 PLA soldiers are much greeted by the Viet people. but we are off topic.

Nuclear submarine technology, which may be the only military technology that is valuable to China from Russia. But Putin clearly will not make this move easily, even in the most difficult times for Russia.
