We have a (bad) culture of face saving, rather than nation saving, we hide the facts rather than learning from them, until and unless we become self-critical with the purpose of learning from mistakes and not repeating them, until then we will not grow as a country/nation. Sure it is a bit better there.......but i can quote at least half dozen cases of whistleblowing where corporate america had the whistle blower dead...........the latest one being that guy from Boeing......

I mean, all societies are just relative to each other. Pakistan has its issues no one denies that.

Whistle blower programs are to protect the corrupt leadership from people who really care about the institution not the other way round as it is made to believe.
