This thread is primarily in response to a request from @Pakistan Space Agency. Other users with similar needs are also welcome to participate.
Any links you can suggest I can keep an eye on? It doesn't matter if it's in Chinese language.

Prerequisites for accessing Chinese websites:
1. Language issues: You need to prepare translation software.
It is recommended to use multiple translation software programs in combination, as a single translation software may have many inaccuracies. Combining Google, Microsoft, and Chinese translation software will yield better results.
Regarding specific Chinese slang or jargon, you can leave a message in this thread, and I will help you explain the meaning of these terms in detail.
2. Network issues: Some websites are inaccessible outside of China; you will need a VPN.
3. Identity issues: Some websites may require registration and login for normal access. Chinese law prohibits anonymous social networking; you will need to provide proof of identity as a Chinese citizen. Accessing these websites may be very difficult for foreigners.

Part 1: About Weibo.com

I have weibo but I don't know who to follow.

The Weibo platform itself provides some specific user lists. These lists can be very helpful to you.
This is a list of popular military bloggers. Link

You can find more content on these pages.

Special Note:

The Weibo platform has a comprehensive verification system. You need to pay attention to the color of the "V" verification symbol in the lower right corner of the account's profile picture, as they represent different verification results.
1. Military bloggers. They are similar to military bloggers on Twitter, and the credibility of their information needs to be assessed independently.
2. Military organizations, government agencies, etc. They often subtly release information about the latest weapons.
3. Media organizations. This requires some discernment skills.

The Weibo platform itself is enormous, and I can't list everything. If you need recommendations for specific types of users, please leave a comment.

Maybe. Can @Deino share his watchlist?

Professional websites for aviation/aerospace technology:

This website is a professional academic website in this field in China. It requires visitors to have a certain level of professional knowledge.
=====================================================
This website offers both Chinese and English versions. However, the vast majority of the papers on it are in Chinese and do not have English versions. These Chinese texts contain a large number of technical terms that cannot be accurately translated by translation software. Please access with caution.

This website features a large number of cutting-edge academic and technical papers. By analyzing these papers, we can generally assess China's progress in related fields.

This is publicly available information and does not involve military secrets.

I cannot list too much information (the workload is too great). If you have specific requirements, please specify them.
If you have any related needs or questions, please leave a message.

There used to be a quite professional military forum, but unfortunately it has been closed. I often browsed it in college and discussed relevant knowledge with my roommates at night. It's a beautiful memory.

In the 1980s, China implemented comprehensive military knowledge education for the general public.
At that time, my textbooks included a textbook on basic military knowledge. It detailed strategies for ordinary people to cope during wartime, as well as basic weapon operation guides and basic tactics.
Young people aged 16 and above were also required to participate in militia training. During that time, I personally handled Type 56 semi-automatic rifles and hand grenades.

In the past, Chinese military forums harbored a large number of "mysterious individuals." Some were researchers from research institutes, some were technical personnel from military industrial enterprises, and some were active-duty military officers......
At that time, due to a lack of sufficient awareness and preventative measures, numerous leaks of classified information occurred. Many people exploited biases and disputes, causing personnel from these confidential organizations to leak a large amount of military secrets out of spite.

Ultimately, the government had to forcibly shut down these websites.

Currently, the Chinese government is very strict in educating employees of these confidential institutions and personnel involved in classified information about security awareness. The national confidentiality system is also gradually improving.

I believe that when the conditions are right, this ban will eventually be lifted.
Are you talking about www.pakdef.info?

That was a no nonsense military forum.
He was referring to Chinese military forums. These forums were highly specialized. However, they have all been shut down now.
Some of the well-known figures who were active on these forums have transitioned to becoming independent media creators, some have completely disappeared from the online world, and some of these professionals are now in prison......
