When Serbs were killing Muslims of Bosnia they were referring it as revenge for ancient Turkish attacks on Serbia and Austria. Seems like Serbs don't agree with what you wrote.
When Australians were massacring Afghans they were heard calling it a Crusade against Muslims. Seems like Australians also dont agree with what you wrote.
Have you heard about Nazi Ukrainians fighting against Russia in current Ukraine Russia conflict? We saw swastika in recent times in Ukraine and then German support for Ukraine. Seems like Ukrainians and Germans also don't agree with you said.
No one forgets anything and waits for the right time when someones daughter who committed any crime against them is available for a rape without retaliation. Then comes all sorts of excuses like terrorism etc.
All women raped in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria , Lebanon, Kashmir, India, Burma, east Timor, Bosnia, ex-soviet Union are remembered and we know who did it and who was behind it.

But revenge is basic human nature. We had and still have the biggest brain sizes in all primates and the parts of brain who are connected with revenge are also very extensive( we have many). Read about the Dorsal or Dorso parts of human brain.

I get where you’re coming from, honestly. If someone messed with my own family, I’d want revenge too, that’s just human. But when you zoom out a bit, some things really stand out.

Atrocities happen everywhere Africa, Ukraine, Balkans, Latin America but the global emotional reaction from Muslims is on another level. Anything that happens to any Muslim population anywhere instantly becomes a personal issue for the entire ummah. I don’t really see that with other faiths beyond a few statments or political noise.

Take Hindus for example, apart from using minority issues in neighbouring countries for our local politics, most people genuinely don’t care or can’t do much. Same with Christian countries… nobody was losing sleep over what happened to Lebanese Christians unless it aligned with their own geopolitcal interests.

That’s why I feel sometimes disconnecting a bit from far away issues actually helps. It lets people fix things locally based on their own lived reality instead of carrying 500 year old bagagge from somewhere else.

And there’s the other thing, most religions don’t have this built in mission to convert the whole world. Some even make conversion intentionally difficult. Maybe it’s not morally perfect, but it definitely stops others from feeling threatened and gives everyone a better shot at reconciliation.

Yes. You are right about the video. However, the lessons can be drawn from the nation to the locality to the clan/tribe/family till the house etc.

No. Not comparable.
I was highlighting the crux, that humans generally need some physical/social/economic pressure to behave correctly. Like Pak needs quality armed forces to counter the aggressor, so better training and readiness. We cannot and shouldn't have depended on CEATO/CENTO or the 7th Fleet for our defence.
Like Japan, S.Land have minimal armies and are counting on Western intervention in a conflict. See what happened to Ukrainians or those Bosnian villages who gave up their weapons. We have to fight our own battle. Even in the recent Pak-India conflict, it was in the end we who fought, with Chinese help for sure.

Now, apply these lessons on a micro level. Our public, police, army, etc, went unchallenged because we (politicians, public, lawmakers, civil societies) failed to check/act in time and didn't prepare, anticipate, or learn from history. Now, everyone is transgressing its boundaries and acting irrationally. The 1-2% have 20-30% or more public complicity if not support (like Serbs had). We don't have UN forces (supposedly protectors in Bosnia) here, but the instruments to check, like the judiciary, media, some political class/parties, etc, are not helping the public.
