A trip to India left me with 38 parasites in my brain -("MUST READ LOL!") - BBC NEWS

It seems like we can't trust any red or white meat nowadays , i actually depend mostly on fish now ( sea and lakes fish) not the farm's fish.
Depends on where that fish is caught. We have lakes (ponds where I come from) here in AZ where the state has said to NOT eat the fish because of the chemicals they contain.

Many years ago, perhaps 50, maybe closer to 60, it was recommended that certain fish caught in Lake Erie not be eaten due to the pollution and what the fish were carrying. Now, the lake is among the cleanest.

it makes a huge difference where you get your meat. let us leave it at that

Can't trust vegetables and fruits either. They are full of synthetic pesticides, GMOs, chemical-based fertilisers, etc. I was happy to see the demand for organic vegetables and fruits in California when I visited in 2011. But I don't know how big of a market it is there.

Some of us can do math.

You're not as smart as you think you are, just a regular Chapri..

Then, in 2011, she suffered her first seizure.
"I was really starting to struggle getting some words out," she said.
"The next thing I came around and I was in an ambulance and I was like 'how has that happened? Why?'"

A hospital stay, CAT scan and MRI scan followed and Lowri was told to come in for the results.
"The doctor sat me down and said, 'right, okay, we've looked at your scans and we've found 38 parasites on your brain'," said Lowri.

So it took only 4 years, and NOT 19 years, to figure out that the India trip got her infected with parasites.

Bro why focus on the time duration?
More important is the actual topic. One has to be careful in what we eat. A few years ago in the UK - It was found that some meats on the shelf had donkey meat in them ffs. All the SOP and thats still happened?

The other way to look at is she could not get rid of those infections she picked up after years.

Almost 40 brain infection bacteria whatever 😯
Yeah, the family from India who got brain worm from New Zealand will also face life long after effects from brain worm. Unfortunately that's how brain worms effects are. Besides, she travelled many countries other than India all she got is her doctor said "she must have caught it from India" isn't a definitive case.

Truth!

The demand is indeed growing. All of the chain grocery stores offer organic products in varying degrees. Some of the smaller ones focus on it more such as Sprout's.

Mrs. AZ happens to be a cancer survivor. Our diet now consists of more organic products and less processed.

We know pattern of BBC. Such concorted articles are a pattern, the story itself is strange, she got a brain worm her doctor thinks it's from her India travel that happened in 2007, she observed symptoms in 2011, she also travelled to many countries in between. Dangerous and bad food items are a thing around the world yes, but it doesn't need a sensational piece.
