Afghanistan's economy Updates

I don't think it will work. Pakistan is trying to do to Afghanistan what India tried to do to us, both will fail. Pakistan must engage Afghanistan people, work towards winning hearts and minds, bring them on board Gwadar Cpec.

It will work FINE

We will destroy the Afghans, or to be more clear the Afghans will destroy themselves

If Pakistan was asking for something unacceptable I would understand, but we are not

Good points. Did the Taliban agree to most of these points when Pakistan started to support them since the 1990s ? ISI should publish their agreement with the Taliban.

The Afghans have been after us since the 1940s

I don't know why our people constantly miss decades of history and afghani attacks

Pakistan only really supported the Taliban because Afghanistan was a mess and full of warlords

And Afghanistan was a mess and full of warlords because THEY invited the Soviets which kicked off a war

The reality is THIS
We need something from the Afghans
Peace , tranquility, a end to their terrorism, respect of our borders

Simple reasonable requests, RIGHT

All we are asking from Afghanistan is to respect the above and we can have open borders and trade and friendship

Its upto them now
We can't help them if they don't make the right decisions

This is a perfect scenario for Pakistan, the Afghans are beginning to starve, they don't have routes for trade and we are beginning to constrict them

Let poverty and starvation do the job for us

Looks like both you and Taliban are two sides of the same coin.
Whatever helps you sleep at night. Pacifism never solved anything. Talks always happen at the end of wars - why, because someone has been defeated and is now ready to talk.

25 years of continued terrorism, 80 years of regular animosity and you people think we can talk with Afghans.

It will work FINE

We will destroy the Afghans, or to be more clear the Afghans will destroy themselves

If Pakistan was asking for something unacceptable I would understand, but we are not
It won't work, because the pussies keep opening the border crossings letting hordes of them in. Total complete isolation and 100% deportation of all Afghans is the only thing that would keep us safe.

People on here really need a better understanding of afghani mentality

Same people that supported Taliban since 1990s against World opinion and condemnation now want famine in Afghanistan. My question why the Pakistan Military supported Taliban for decades without a formal agreement of accepting many Pakistani demands ?

(Amu tv): Taliban say they have identified nearly 600 mining sites across Panjshir province, highlighting what they describe as the region’s significant mineral wealth.

In a statement, the office of the Taliban governor of Panjshir said the sites contain 17 types of minerals and precious and semi-precious stones, including emeralds, gold and turquoise.

The statement added that about 15,000 people are currently employed in mining and mineral-processing activities in the province.

According to the statement, 19,846 carats of emeralds worth more than $424,000 have been sold in Panjshir since the start of the current solar year.

Panjshir is home to some of Afghanistan’s most valuable emerald deposits, and gemstone extraction has become an increasingly important source of income in the province in recent years.
