here are several very important personalities in which their collaboration or commitments are sometimes unknown, as they are companies that could be totally rivals, something that could be translated into two technology companies such as Apple and Microsoft and their founders.

Bill Gates reviewed the relationship between the two, speaking last February in interviews with Opening Bild, Yahoo Finance. He also spoke about Steve Jobs, acknowledging the close collaborative relationship between the two and praising his work.

Bill Gates on Steve Jobs: "He was very different from me"

Bill Gates began by praising Steve Jobs: "He was not an engineer, he did not know what source code was, he did not know much about chip design... although his ability to choose people to work in those areas was amazing".

Similarly, Gates also highlighted Jobs in the visual part of his operating systems, recognizing the superiority of the Apple founder: "Steve was very different from me. In terms of intuition for a good user interface and for design... he had it and I didn't. I envy his genius in that."

Gates also wanted to highlight one of the highlights of his relationship with Jobs, and the fact that they were so different was also a benefit for the two, as they were two very different ways of working that complemented each other: "Steve would say something like, 'Okay, I don't want any software to have manuals,' which, well, is a detail, but we actually needed help and documentation. So we got the best of both worlds, where he pushed and I had engineering teams that actually had to do the work."

Both collaborated in creating the Macintosh, with more people from Microsoft than Apple working on it, something Gates has very fond memories of: "It was a really fun project."
