Its not possible because people DO have genuine grievances all over Pakistan. AJK is shown on the media but Balochistan/Tribal areas KPK has larger protests and they are ignored. The state and rulers job must be to bring the awaam on their side but in Pakistan its elite v the poor, and certain parties then exploit the situation. The police and agencies are now going in the middle of the night and raiding houses in AJK mountains, with women in the houses etc, how can we defend this, and if we do tomorrow they will raid your house and harass women.

But its good to learn from this, the same is done in Balochistan and elsewhere. Genuine grievances are exploited by certain people, Pakistani state must take action against the trouble makers but also sort out the grievances of the public and bring them on the side of the state. This is the main confusion for those Pakistanis who love Pakistan, our army, defence, institutions, they want a powerful Pakistan, with great defence economy, jobs, rule of law, justice.

If they support the protesters for their grievances, which one day will be our own families, then someone out their hijacks the movements, then it leads to hatred against Pakistan itself, they not only attack the institutions but want to harm them which will lead to civil war, they want independence, will speak against the existence of Pakistan itself.

If they support the state, the state uses brutal crackdowns, fake cases, fake propaganda, disappearances. The state also protects the dacoits and corrupt in power who loot the nation but never takes action against them.

What is a patriotic Pakistani supposed to do?.

I didnt make myself clear, what i meant was only those who are swearing at Pakistan, calling for violence, their nicops, passports and banks must be taken from them, especially those with microphones, they are clearly working towards hatred and violence (overseas Pakistanis). I also said physically attacking protesters, killing them must not be done (in Pakistan). The legitimate demands must be accepted and those not acceptable must be countered. Lastly where are PPP Pmln Pmlq parties, they claim to have majority support in AJK and are ruling elite, where are the counter protests or are they waiting till army takes strict action which will lead to killings and will then blame it on the army, usual dirty politics.

Swearing/profanity can be ignored in a hostile and heated environment.
Calling for violence is an international crime. They can be prosecuted. Not easy, as Altaf was not indicted, but the case was made.

Blocking NICOPs and accounts can violate fundamental laws and cease future investment. Be careful in such a decision.

Physical violence will definitely 'welcome' indian entry in future. People will disperse or be quashed and cannot protest but revolt.

PMLN and PPP are not participating, so all the blame will fall on the Army. Even the AJK president said that he didn't sign the JAC ban order (but didn't resign and is still enjoying perks). There is no genuine opposition left in AJK (PMLN may have but not representing it) so all the public sentiments are hijacked by JAC. Also, it is happy in govt and will blame the army in future.
