We get it..... you dislike PTI and support the Army... But blaming every problem under the sun on a party you hate doesn't hurt that party's credibility, it hurts yours...

And regardless of what anyone says, Kashmiris, most of them, have never been particularly fond of Pakistan... Their views have always been more complicated than that..... It's just that the opposition to India has historically been far stronger than any particular affection for Pakistan...

But at the current trajectory, and with the state's growing arrogance and heavy handedness, even that gap may not remain as wide for much longer....

I have experienced it also. I think it stems from their historic superiority for being fairer, Brahmin, Pandits, etc. They sometimes marry outside their clan and rarely go inter-racial.

Its very difficult to survive in Pakistan if your not wealthy/well connected. The rich can bully and harass you but you cannot do much, the police charges money to help you, if a normal person goes police station they'll slap you, the only way is to wipe the shoes of the local politicians, they will make the phone calls, phone to judges to accept your case. This is the unfortunate reality. If the rule of law was strong people, people will trust the state to give justice to them, to protect them, this creates those people who respect the state.

The root cause of all this mess, grievances, and exploitation in Pakistan is the lack of rule of law. Those haram-khore rich who can rip the state have become all strong mafias and have penetrated into every government department.

I wish our khakis can just ensure the rule of law rather than pulling the strings here and there. That will be a big favor to the nation. Only they can provide the required support to the state against the blackmail by mafias.

Any honest officer in civil service when tries to bust even a smaller goon or mafia member, all these mafias become united and active to get that officer transferred from his position, move the case to a higher level that can serve them better, or activate their goons in the higher judiciary to provide an indefinite stay order against the action.

Cleaning the judiciary is the most important task that is required for getting out of the current mess. The parliament, where at least some members belong to middle or lower middle class, can make their voice heard by bringing private motions aimed at reforming judiciary and exposing the mafia helpers in parliament. The legislation to make judges accountable and arrest, prosecute, and punish the black sheep judges is the most important and key requirement. These shameless mafia judges provide the strongest protective shield to the influential criminals and mafias.

Blaming India means we get to overlook introspect. We dont need to criticise ourselves and understand why the unrest, when we can just say its indian sponsored mischief.

Until we continue to blame india for all of our issues, and not actually look inside, they'll remain.

More importantly - those in charge are characteristically INCAPABLE of understanding this nuance. They are simply not SMEs in this field regardless of how many courses you undertake because your environment is not permissive to act outside of its boundaries.

Those two demands - instead of being taken within the realm of Kashmiris and political manipulation - should have been weighed in against the entirety of chaos Pakistan is facing and simply could have been modified to say "the seats stay but they are ceremonial in nature and also represent Kashmiris on the other side of the LoC".

It was such an easy soft closure of the situation instead of making it wedge to hold out on - WHILE YOU COULD HAVE TACKLED THE MORE NEFARIOUS ELEMENTS OF THIS GROUP quietly.
