The funny thing is this khud mukhtar kashmir has no ideological basis for formation. Ethnic nationalism won’t cut it because these regions ALL have different ethnicities. Dogra nationalism won’t cut it because anyone with half a brain and knowledge of history would never want to live under the rule of those genocidal tyrants who gained power by licking boots of British and Indian colonizers.

And if they want communism as their national ideology they will never get enough grassroots support from locals, or any international backing.

In every movement there is always a faction than behaves irrationally. Take the French, Iranian etc revolutions as an example. In iran Students took US embassy hostage ... it wasn't universally supported but in the heat of the situation such ugly things happened

In Kashmir it no different.

But touts in PTI will support to contest elections.
But, more then 60 thousand PTI supporters facing cases and facing multiple life in prison. Imran Khan in jail without case more then 3 years,
