AJK govt bans Joint Awami Action Committee, notification issued

one would have thought they would learn something from 1971 .... ..

same old crap

We learnt

Extreme ethnocentrism can be destructive for a diverse state

You can't bend over for every group otherwise it will never end and you will destroy national interest

We need to be far more firm as a state against this bullshit and deal with our enemies harshly

If they want to go and fight India and the Hindus, then go fcuking do it yourselves, why the **** is Pakistan constantly bending over for these enemies

You still seem to be stuck in the 1600s... the rest of political thought moved on centuries ago...

Hobbes described the state as an artificial monster(the Leviathan) created to maintain order.... Locke and Rousseau later added an important caveat:.. a state's legitimacy derives not merely from enforcing order, but from protecting rights and reflecting the will of its people....

Our champions of the "hard state" like yourself appear to admire the monster while forgetting its purpose....

We are not Switzerland,

Whilst the state has a responsibility to protect the peoples rights,it needs a rational populace that understands it's own responsibilities

We simply do not have that type of populace
Education and time may fix that issue, but we can't wait that long

And we can't have the state bend it's self backwards and into knots trying to please multiple ethnic groups, often making unacceptable demands like erasure of the durrand line or no police or security in a area

So if we have a group who wants to achieve a political aim

Let's say Karachi turned into its own administrative area,
As long as it's constitutional, lawful, non-violent, doesn't effect the state negatively
These things can be discussed and resolved

What we can't have is ethnocentric lannats demanding the durrand line is erased because of Pashto Pashto Pashto, or some group demanding Azad Kashmir has it's own army or end of the system that whilst flawed represents Pakistans claim on Joke etc

If we keep letting these idiots cause chaos, then we will never have peace

The Switzerland reference is rather self-defeating..... Switzerland didn't become the peaceful, stable country you admire by shooting, beating, censoring, and intimidating its own citizens into obedience.... Quite the opposite.

As for the claim that Pakistanis aren't educated or rational enough, that's not exactly original..... Iskander Mirza used the same excuse to bury democracy in 1950s and justify martial law....70 years later, it's quite amusing to see the exact same argument being recycled by hard state enthusiasts and Army bootlickers as though it were some profound discovery.....

The funny part is that the people are always deemed educated enough to pay taxes, obey orders, fight wars, and bear the consequences of elite decisions..... but somehow never educated enough to demand accountability or exercise political choice....

And as for fringe demands, every country has them..... A genuinely strong state enforces the law while upholding the rights of all citizens ... A self-proclaimed "hard state" like ours tends to place itself above the law and treats dissent itself as the offence .... It then punishes people on a whim, sidesteps due process, and ends up giving fringe causes exactly the publicity and legitimacy they could never have earned on their own....

Your idea of putting out a fire with petrol has never worked, and it never will.
