They literally have 35 demands. They're written down. Google them. All are internal to AJK politics. Establishment is waging war to protect its touts and thier perks and corruption.

I have spoken to nationalist leaders, they are educated but still abit tapped in the head, I made the same argument as you, said how will Kashmir survive between huge enemy India, China on one border and Pakistan on another, they said look at Taiwan, and claimed they will stop India, i said go free Kashmir first and then talk big but as usual they start to hate on you. Pakistan has cultish mentalities, be it PPP, Pmln PTI nationalist mullahs. I understand Sindhi, KPK, Baloch nationalist have similar mindset.

When you become part of a cult - regardless of your alliance you are willing to both obfuscate the truth but more so willing to twist your own beliefs to justify the truth.

But in general Pakistani trend in cultism has been more vociferous in acting against their own country’s interests REGARDLESS of the veracity of the truth - their own family and neighbors be villainized or even sacrificed for that matter.

India had not engaged in this until the rise of Hindutva and BJP. Pakistanis did this in the west against Bengalis(who had their own cultt regardless of overall aggreviences) with the cult of Ayub and bhutto.

Its 100% true, the nationalists i met are polite, educated people but they are part of their own circle, they sit with them, eat with them so support them, same with how AJK dacoit politicians behave, how different mullah groups behave. Everyone has this own cult and dont use own brain. Jahalat has no cure, only after decades of giving people the right education, increasing literacy rate 95% plus level, good governance, security can be the solution. People forget western world is facing inflation, people are struggling, spend all earnings on food and bills but they will not rebel against own armed forces or would want to destroy their countries, they are 100 years ahead in their mindset compared to us, this is why they rule the world. No doubt people are fed up with nepotism, corruption, bribery, incompetence, public has the right to speak against this but not take actions which could harm Pakistan.

IF there was a patriotic/nationalist government in Pakistan that cared for ALL it's people and put the interests of the Pakistani people first, it would MASSIVELY reduce the calls for separatism. So YES, I understand that the Pakistani government/establishment has it's fair share of blame and they need to change their wayward and damaging ways. However let there be no doubt, the end result for those communities who are calling for seperate states from the Pakistan federation will see their girls and women folk become sex slaves, prostitutes and breeding machines for indian dravidian hindus and sikhs. That is the BRUTAL and HONEST truth.

Definitely, the biggest blame and failure goes to the government, they are not doing their job, and the awaam is suffering, this creates long term hatred, and the vacuum is then taken by religious extremists and ethnic extremists. I understand. Pressure needs to be applied on the Pakistan government and they need to be held responsible. Protest, hold demonstrations, boycott etc. Call for a nationwide movement but PLEASE do not give the enemy who calls for the GENOCIDE of all Pakistanis and Muslims what they want.

Bro, there are random fringe elements everywhere. JKLF for example has been asking for an independent state for nearly 50 years, they've never even stood for election, their meetings have a dozen or so uncles get together for karahi and chai.

These people are only being highlighted in order to distract and discredit the movement.

JAAC is not a nationalist movement, nor is there support for a nationalist movement in AJK.

The people of AJK do want political stability, free and fair elections and the reduction of interference in AJK politics by establishment and their political touts.

The Switzerland reference is rather self-defeating..... Switzerland didn't become the peaceful, stable country you admire by shooting, beating, censoring, and intimidating its own citizens into obedience.... Quite the opposite.

As for the claim that Pakistanis aren't educated or rational enough, that's not exactly original..... Iskander Mirza used the same excuse to bury democracy in 1950s and justify martial law....70 years later, it's quite amusing to see the exact same argument being recycled by hard state enthusiasts and Army bootlickers as though it were some profound discovery.....

The funny part is that the people are always deemed educated enough to pay taxes, obey orders, fight wars, and bear the consequences of elite decisions..... but somehow never educated enough to demand accountability or exercise political choice....

And as for fringe demands, every country has them..... A genuinely strong state enforces the law while upholding the rights of all citizens ... A self-proclaimed "hard state" like ours tends to place itself above the law and treats dissent itself as the offence .... It then punishes people on a whim, sidesteps due process, and ends up giving fringe causes exactly the publicity and legitimacy they could never have earned on their own....
