I read on Wikipedia, Algerian Sukhoi, in its MKA version, is a derivative of the Indian MKI variant that eventually led to SM standard in Russia. Wiki says it's same as SU-37.

Its really confusing, could you please tell us more about this fighter jet of AAF and also what A2A weapons does it operate in Algerian Air force? Have Russians armed it with R-37?

Russia has the worst after sales services in the world.

It's not just a derivative version of the SU-30 MKI, but it's definitely a su-30 mki, even the official designation within the Algerian Air Force is the SU-30 MKI .

Even in terms of avionics the algerian flanker use the same subsystems as the indian flanker, such as the HAL El-OP SU-967 HUD & other MFDs
