he's not laughing at the death of the pilot, he is laughing at a so called soupapowa's samosa becoming a pancake, i.e. illusions of grandeur going up in smoke.....

OK, here is another angle - the height appears to be insufficient for this manuever.

It should have rolled smoothly, but instead it pitched while upside down, causing the loss of height. The pilot could not have been trying a split S at the altitude.....🤔🤔

Looks like pilot tried to pull off a maneuvre that required a lot of height, but he was not at such a good height. Reminds me of F16 crash in Sept 6th rehearsals in Pakistan a few years ago.

For those seeing flashes and hearing explosions. In a single engine fighter you punch out at low altitude at the first sign of engine trouble. An engine explosion is always followed by smoke and debris. Unless it's a compressor stall, a single loud bang with flames from the inlet/exhaust is a 'transient stall' typically happens when there is abnormal airflow into the engine. The pilot needs to stabilize airflow to recover from a 'transient stall' if the pop we heard is a compressor stall there was no time for recovery for this Tejas since it was so low to the ground.

Outside of typical retarded "brahmin" comments, these projects don't fail because people are stealing money through them. They fail because little money is given to worthless government institutions who don't have the authority nor the engineers to bring these projects to life. Indian military hates made in India and they are biggest reason for delays in any local projects.

Thank god private sector is free from these leeches.
One has to just look at the various government websites and IT infrastructure to know the caliber of workforce the government has on its payroll. I think that majority of people here have a very low IQ combined with a very bad work and life ethics this translates to how an organization is run and produces result.

I laughed too when I saw the news. Until I realized the pilot didn't survive. The person recording likely hasnt processed the tragic aspect of things. As for the indian torrent of hate and false claims about a dozen JF 17s crashing and Pakistani technicians being arrested - there are two inferences -

1) You validate the 2 nation theory. You and us - we are nothing alike
2) This amblyopia is precisely why you are not as big a threat to us in reality as you should be on paper. If you realized this we would be in trouble. The fact that I am stating this clearly should also tell you what chances I expect you have of realizing this.

Condolences for the brave pilot. He may have chosen to try and rescue national pride and attempt a heroic salvage and thus went down with the bird. A pity none of your own are realizing this - they are too busy attacking pakistan.

The engine is the most proven and reliable and best thing in the entire jet.

If that smoke is a tell tail sign of anything, maybe there is an integration issue with the engine may be the issue(ie HAL/DRDO design flaw/issue maybe), but that engine is absolutely a solid engine.
