An Indian Tejas fighter jet crashed during an aerial display at the Dubai Air Show

Based on the vid, just looks to me like jet was too low for that manoeuvre? You can see that the plan was to get quite low to the ground before climbing but hit the ground instead. On the flip side, can’t believe a modern jet with all its gizmos could allow such an error without all manner of warnings?

Very few military jets have ground collision avoidance systems, and most of them are on American jets ( ie GCAS ), and even then, they may turn them off for a display where by its nature they will fly low alot.

This has got to be a made up story - no one is that unprofessional to fire serving professionals(who take decades to train sometimes) over a photo.
You did't check twitter and other social media? They are blaming their airmen why they went to PAF stand and had pictures with the jet.

This media hatered generated by BJP in 14 years even now they can't handle it.

I am still struggling with this, but lets see if the reports come out in the media on this. By every logic, this is illogical to me.

(it may well have happened, but my brain says it can't, it is too stupid to actually happen.).

Via the friend of mine who is at the moment at the show:

Looking back at videos, he rolled the opposite way to usual. On Mon/Tues he rolled over the top to exit the turn (with some crazy rudder inputs that looked uncomfortable). Today, a dramatic roll under, and then a lot of sink.
