The real question is who came before the egyptians? They didn't wake up and build giant pyramids 5000years ago, there must have been advanced culture in egypt even before then.

Well , Egypt had some civilizations before the era of the pharaohs ( All are called Anicent Egyptians) and today Egyptians are called (modern Egyptians).
The title (pharaohs) was sticked to the era of the Egyptians before and during the greeks and the romans, and we called them (pharaohs) they weren't named pharaohs at this time , just Egyptians.
why did we call them pharaohs? because of the famous leader during prophet Moses' era who was named (pharaoh) and he drawn in sea with his army.

what civilziation was there before the era of (pharaohs) ? well , more ancient Egyptians who had knowledge and Tech to be able to build the pyramids and this giant buildings.

i will give u an example , nowadays Egyptians have better Tech or the ones before let's say 100 years? of course nowadays Egyptians , both are called Egyptians but different civilization and different tools.

but how come the ancient Egyptians before the pharaohs had better Tech and the ones came after them are kinda not that civilized like them ? well, my answer is the world back thousands and thousands of years ago then had better tech and tools and Then came an era of decline.

yes they are very anicent , probably not less than 10000 years.

there are no aliens , no visitors from other planets etc .. just normal people with better bodies and better tech.

if you had a time machine and went to let's say the year 1000 or 1100 and told them in the 21 th century we gonna have missiles, planes that reach anywhere on the planet in hours , nukes and etc , would they believe you? no, they would call you a witch and probably set you on fire.

thats the same case , Egyptians in the era of the pyramids were so advanced.

There is a good wikipedia article on prehistoric Egypt. Before the ancient Egyptians , lived multiple peoples who had skills and who eventually coalesced into the people that became ancient Egyptians.

how much of the blood of ancient Egyptians runs in modern day Egyptians ? I am aware of how much a land and peoples can change over 10,000 years and that modern Egyptians were culturally assimilated into Arab and Islamic identities and cultures.
