Are Turkey and Israel Heading Toward Confrontation?

You know that the Israeli-made air defense systems you have are operated by Israelis
1.We don't yet have
2.No they're not "operated by Israelis"
3.They don't constitute "bases"

Unless your S-400s are operated by Russians and constitute Russian bases.

You will see that what I am saying is true; the air defense systems you bought will be operated by supposedly civilian Israelis

Their army can't get close enough to land. They can't. If they tried a landing they'd suffer massive losses. If they tried to start an invasion from the north, from Syria, they'd be wiped out by the Israeli Air Force, drones and ballistic missiles. That's why Israelis don't want them to get a solid foothold in Syria.

The Turkish Air Force is not massive. And compared to the Israeli Air Force, they are technologically and qualitatively lagging.

I think Turkey could get away with heavily dispersing its ground forces when traveling through with strong air cover. And air defence systems.
That would make Israeli air strikes far less effective.
Israel has shown it can only fight short, sharp wars and naturally loses in any attrition war.
The Airspace will be heavily congested by Turkish Airforce and air defence systems and radars.
IAF won’t be able to fly freely like they do in Gaza Lebanon and in other Arab countries …

If you mean in Syria, logistically it would be a nightmare. Plus,it's not realistic, because vehicles and equipment have to move through main roads. Main roads, highways, pontoons will be hit. Transport aircraft and helicopters will be shot down.

There's another catch: Turkish air defence is brand new and not fully battle-tested yet and the Israelis have a long history of being experts in neutralizing enemy air defences.

If Israelis take out the turkish military and naval bases close to them and deal a harsh blow to any targets of opportunity, they'd have effectively won and postponed the fight for years.

Lots of people are misinformed about Turkish Airforce and weaponry. They have equipped all their F-16s with AESA Radar themselves., they have many other capabilities that not been revealed, and they are as also superior in naval capabilities.

The Ogzur program is still going slowly. They haven't equipped "all" of their F-16s with AESA radars. Maybe one or two at most. And on top of that, they've lost a good number of experienced pilots and officers due to the 2016 purges.

Just look at the kind of ignorant People we are dealing with here

currently are there even 5000 air defense Missiles in Israel ? NO

They are asking about 15,000 cheap kamikaze Drones from a country like Turkiye that produces 300 m MUGEM Aircraft Carrier + 1 TF-2000 Destroyer + 3 ISTIF Frigates + 1 Type-214TN Submarine combined within 3 years

even not to mention the Frigates and Corvettes produced for export

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turkiye already possessed a large stockpile of Cruise and Ballistic missiles
since the outbreak of the Iran-Israel conflict 2 years ago, Turkiye has been producing Missiles and kamikaze Drones day and night in preparation for a potential war

even Turkiye deployed new K-2 kamikaze Drones to Pakistan

Only one example
This is SIVRISINEK kamikaze Drone that is very cheap and very easy to manufacture

SIVRISINEK ( Mosquito ) kamikaze Drone
Range : 1.000 km
Warhead : 20 kg
Guidance : GNSS and E/O Camera

There are 6 different Turkish defense companies to produce minimum 10 types of long range kamikaze Drones ..... ( If 1,000 of each were produced, that would amount to at least 10,000 units )

In fact, considering Türkiye's existing defense industry infrastructure, private sector participation and asymmetric warfare doctrine, this figure ( 15.000 kamikaze Drones ) is not an "upper limit" for Turkiye

but rather a baseline production capacity that could be reached within a few months

Do you have 15,000 drones? Then stop going like "even only 15,000 long-range kamikaze drones can...."

Former F-16 pilots from private Airlines have returned to the Turkish Air Force
and hundreds of new pilots have been trained in the last 10 years
now TURAF has enough experinced and skilled Pilots

The OZGUR-2 modernization project will be carried out between 2027 and 2030

even KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 unmanned stealth Fighter Jets are coming with MURAD-100 AESA Radar as of 2027 to enter service

4 Boeing E-7T AEWCs can help 200 Turkish F-16s to use 600 km AESA Radar to detect F-15 and F-16 from 350+ km away

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The real game-changers here will be our 185-200+ km GOKHAN and GOKBORA ramjet powered air to air Missiles

also 4 ASOJ-23A stand off jammer Aircraft between 2026 and 2028

and 150+ km SIPER-2 air defense Missile to hit even the F-35s from 120 km away
Thanks to ALP-300G next gen early warning AESA Radar

Don't bank on that , PAF pilots were immediately dispatched to fill up the gap .... it's 10 years now Turkish air force is back to her full strength.
