Yeah..the end of times is near...those previous things like 80M deaths in WW2, atomic bombings, The Black Death killing 200M people, Spanish flu killing 500M, etc were just tiny little bumps in history compared to the events of today.

Forgetting the religious thing and thinking strictly statistically in world population terms.

Your own existence is a random event of mankind possible history.

The probability of to be born 2 thousands years ago is much lower than to be born now, because now the world population is so much bigger.

Now imagine world population will keep 1 million years more with 8 billion people, your existence as random event it would be more likely much later in the future.

But all we are reading this we were born in last decades. Likely because billions people world population is a strange event that wouldnt never repeat again after few time (years, decades) after this moment.

The idea also fit with crude oil and natural gas as main raw material and energy source of current overpopulated world.
