Servicemen of the Russian repair company, 1st Guards Tank Army of the "West" group, equipped the Strela-10 SAM system with a homemade protective structure called "Mangal". The Strela-10 SAM system also had electronic warfare systems installed. In this case, the Strela-10 air defense system was equipped with an automatically deployable Mangal for the first time. The design is quite simple, but it significantly increases the air defense system's protection against FPV drones. The 9K35 Strela-10 SAM system was adopted by the USSR in 1976, after which it was repeatedly modernized. Despite its age, many countries still use this air defense system.
