Armament of the Russian Army

A prototype of a robotic spider-like mine has been unveiled in Russia. Designed to resemble a spider, the robotic mine is equipped with communication systems, optics, and its own software. Development took just over a month and involved complex work regarding vectors and load-bearing dynamics. The spider-robot can move into position and operate autonomously. No details regarding mass production, the developer, or technical specifications have been released so far.

Russia and Vietnam conducted exercises at Cam Ranh Port to locate distressed submarines resting on the seabed. The drills involved the Russian Project 636.3 submarine *Ufa* and the Project 21300 *Delfin* rescue vessel *Igor Belousov*, as well as the Vietnamese Project 636.1 submarine *Ho Chi Minh* and the multi-purpose search-and-rescue vessel *Yet Kieu*. According to the exercise scenario, the *Ufa* and the *Ho Chi Minh* simulated an emergency situation. Rescue vessels from both nations located and inspected the submarines using remotely operated deep-sea vehicles. The crew of the *Igor Belousov* deployed the *Pantera Plus* underwater vehicle to inspect the submarine, while Vietnamese rescue teams carried out similar operations on the Russian submarine.
