yeah, i thought that it has to do with recent Imran's health deterioration and the potential fallout afterwards. They must be scared of the PTI diehards march onto the GHQ this time.
Otherwise, no amount of so-called afghan/indian/other "threats" have ever been enough to call in the army into a City for 6 months. Why not deploy the army in lahore, karachi, peshawar, gujranwala, mardan, hyderabad too? If they're going to blame afghans for this, then its shameful for them to have let the situation get this bad in the twin cities due to afghan refugees.
This is a stupid decision............and any hopes of attracting FDI into the country can go to hell with this deployment. Anyone from friendly countries who was gonna visit will have second thoughts now. Seems some duffer generals are trying to save their skins only.
