it is a very large operation, consider the geographical layout and the known TTP(Tactics, Techniques and Procedures) that BLA use against security forces personnel. Everyone involved is incredibly brave regardless what keyboard commandos on X, Reddit or even PDF say.
 
Why doesn't Pakistan have a SWAT team?

Just move some troops into SWAT teams and give them all the kit.

I always found it strange in a security state like Pakistan why your police is so inept :ROFLMAO: Is this by design?

Firstly Pakistan does have what you call SWAT teams.

Secondly and most importantly this sort of operation is beyond the remit of your traditional SWAT team, hostage rescue on this scale is a multi agency operation even in the US, with the FBI HRT, local PD, national guard, DHS etc.

It's easy to make such flippant remarks when you dont understand the ground realities of such operations.
