Don't disagree that they might be NATO weapons from Afghanistan, or even from the black market, but M4 copies have had wide proliferation over the past few years and have found their way into terrorist hands.

Fauj will need to invade Kunar, Khost and Paktia to choke the supply lines. Airstrikes won't be enough, it needs to be operated on.

During zarb e azb they found an entire town working on bombs and ammo for TTP. An entire local economy Same happens in Afghanistan.

Whoever recommended Pakistan back Taliban is a fool. I already knew what was going to happen back in 2005.

I think anyone who tries to even partially rationslise this act in terms of the state letting them down needs to first explain the mindset that would conduct this violence during Ramadan

There's no military solution for this problem. In Balochistan and KPK both. Same thing that Imran Khan has been saying since ages.

If proper state writ had existed in these places, Justice and rule of law instead of leaving the people to their own faculties or delegating it quasi warlords aka tribal chiefs, we wouldn't have this mess. And the fact that our establishment needs this chaos to justify its massive leach like existence in Pakistan.

Hopelessness is a sin so Ill keep hoping the state ( establishment ) finally gets its act straight and give Balochs the representation and the BLA BLF swines a swift one way ticket to hell. All of them including their sanctuaries in Afghanistan and Iran.
