Attack on Jaffer Express

Can somebody explain how are the Baloch like? I've never talked with one. Or maybe I did but don't remember. What are they like? What's their culture? What makes them distinct apart from the language and obviously a bit of ethnicity? Are the majority of them peaceful people or like Afghans?

Like Afghans, no different

Think about the type of people who would commit crimes like this

It is delusion to think that UAE or Iran consider Pakistan as a competitor in ports.

People chose UAE ports not just because they are hyper efficient but also because UAE is an internationally accessible and competitive business hub.

That's why even Iran with similar geography can't compete with them. Iran's ports are relatively useful because they are used to export and import a valuable commodity like oil.

Pakistan has nothing of the three things needed. They are
1. Not efficient
2. They don't have a captive commodity to export that the world needs
3. Pakistan is not a competitive business hub

To think that Gwadar will ever be a rival to these is narcissistic delusion of grandeur.

Is that why you guys hold lengthy sermons about how Chinese debt is terrible for Pakistan? Chinese development in Pakistan is supposedly very bad for Pakistan's economy.

We know exactly how the UAE and Iran view Gwadar. They don't like competition, even if it is as inefficient and bad as you are portraying it to be. Just because Gwadar hasn't taken off yet doesn't mean that will always be the case. As long as China is involved, Gwadar has the potential to be a world class port.

China alone has enough volume to make Gwadar a collosal port. Did you really think that China would be using their traditional expensive shipping routes eternally? Especially in today's unstable world China needs alternative routes. With the US trying to surround China, Gwadar is the alternative.

1. Your port and other infrastructure is built on loan, not investment. Which means the longer they don't outperform the larger the debt grows.

2. China neither has nor will it divert traffic from its own ports to yours short of a war. This serves them well to have a plan B in case of a war and have a backup access at SOMEONE ELSE'S expense (i.e. Pakistan)

1. The loan agreement between China and Pakistan is based on friendly terms. You are confusing China's loan terms with the IMF's. Pakistan has time on its side, and China understands. That is how two friendly countries cooperate.

2. China will diversify shipping lanes in the coming years, especially when the US starts poking around in the traditional sea routes that China utilizes. Of course, Gwadar is part of the plan. Why else would China invest billions of dollars?

Be quiet and offer your condolences like a respectful member, instead of acting like a brute. I haven't seen any condolences from you. Also stay on topic.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. These elements will have to be dealt with force along with isolating them from general public support (socioeconomic measure in effected areas).

What I am trying to say is the people in control have proven to be incompetent. And you can’t win with a incompetent team. So now what is the logical sequence?

Just to add, as pointed out earlier, there is a benefactor that may force the right actions in the coming days. Other than this team is a failure.

The ideologues, ones that can be salvaged, must be... but the experiment with distracting and disenfranchising people with political ideologies steeped in social, economic or religious niches must be dismantled. Which means undoing the whole political spectrum pantomime.

All of these shops need benefactors to sustain and ideological tint, often manipulated from outside for there own purposes. The issue at hand is deeper because the permanent state itself promotes its own acceptable framework and ideology. That is not only inept but insufficient to counter a constantly evolving playing field, subject to and sat in an otherwise alien environment and context.

Baloch, their sub groups and clans, Afghans and theirs don't need and would never care for such if the people themselves are uplifted, empowered and differed to in their own matters. I don't see a future for both BLA and TTP if the state doesn't keep providing them with much needed impetus and raison d'etre.

You have to understand

The military CANNOT flood Balochistan who is a state as big as France with tough terrain with thousands of soldiers and heavy equipment, because it would just sit around because you can't identify the culprits

When Afghanistan fell, a long term strategic threat was removed, but we had to deal with the fall out ,, THIS IS THE FALLOUT alongside the TTP nonsense

Because Afghanistan is a viper pit where all these jahils can meet and train

Our trump card was always that we could cause our enemies more pain then they can cause us,the Afghans are suffering and will continue to suffer and we can utilise border closure, migrants removal etc to force the Afghans to behave

But at some point you MUST bring the hammer down on Afghanistan and afghans and any migrants and the Baloch without endless randi rona about poverty

It's not always up to the state to force change amongst a population, the situation amongst these people is as such that no one wants to invest there or make jobs there, they don't pay taxes so it's a burden on the rest of the country to send money to make these people's lives better who then respond with more violence and evil

Dear Members, please prevent spreading misinformation and enemy propaganda on PDF and other social sites!

The video in this tweet is a perfect example of why when you have security incidents like this it is wise to double check your sources before sharing content.

The above video was originally shared by an Indian account:

before being picked up by "OSINT" pundits.

It was then shared via another Indian account:

This same video was shared multiple times by several Indian accounts on x namely:

With a total 137,000 views at the time of backing up these tweets.

The same video was shared by Chinese Media:

Clearly this video was a fake as the attack occurred inside the Tunnel known as Windy Pass Tunnel also known as Tunnel Number 8 locally. This video shows a train being attacked in open space which doesn't tally with available facts.

Secondly, using some open source tools this same video appeared in 2022 from an X user
with the title: The BLA has apparently attacked a train carrying Pakistani soldiers.

Another search revealed that this video was shared in April 2022 by an Indian account
With the title: BLA has released footage of an IED attack on Train carrying FC(Frontier Corps) near Sibbi, Balochistan.

No such incident had even been verified, and clearly this video was faked and not linked to any attack in Pakistan.

A pro Pakistani X account shared visuals from a video game

This same video was shared on other twitter accounts:

This video was also uploaded in 2017 on Youtube and is identical to the video shared in the tweets:

FAKE VIDEO!

Interestingly this same video was shared by Putin with the Western Media to show a Russian Gunship targeting ISIS in Syria:

This video is in fact of a US Apache targeting Taliban militants in Afghanistan:

Today at the height of a sensitive security operation an account that appeared to be a PML-N supporter based on their past posts alleged that PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja stated that party founder Imran Khan had ordered support for human rights activist Mahrang Baloch and the BLA. The post alleged that Imran knew in advance about the attack and hence had ordered the support.

The post garnered over 76,000 views.

It was also shared by two further twitter accounts gaining over 47,000 views

The actual complete video can be found here:

However, checking the clip shared in the posts showed that Raja did not mention BLA and only stated that the PTI would invite Mahrang to Islamabad.

A review of his from his press conference on February 27, 2025, alongside other opposition leaders, also confirmed that he did not reference the BLA at any point. Instead, he emphasised inviting Mahrang to Islamabad as a representative of the voice of the people of Balochistan.

So please I urge all members to kindly double check your sources, don't share terrorism or malicious content, if you are unsure better to not share it. Always #Factcheck

A lot of sense there, but all military

Does anyone know any precedent that could be semi applicable to this region?

The fundamental issue here is there is a big segment who are unaware or cannot access the basic concept of a social contract with the state

The Afghans after 50 years of occupation by the west are somehow more tribal than ever, you have to work around this

The problem people should be triangulated via those who refuse state integration

You therefore need to apply absolute standards for law and create structures of the state

One more thing that I noticed is because of the remote location of the terrorist attack, there is hardly any cover of the events by the media. In big contrast to the Lal Masjid siege for example.

Apparently the militants choose an extremely remote place. Nearest road is few dozen kms away.
If it was closer to a city, there would have been 24 hour coverage from the media. It's their best. They would rush every reporter there.

Long post warning!

I have known ZZH personally, we spoke many times. I had dinner at his house in Askari Scheme III and had dinner with his family. He studied computer engineering at NED University in Karachi.

He is the son of Col. Zaman Hamid who was a very highly respected and well regarded officer in Pakistan army. ZZH himself never served in the Pakistan Army or any security establishment due to suffering from a weak chest.

He was a porter and did however smuggle weapon as a porter into Afghanistan during Russia-Afghanistan war, he uses this to claim he was a vetran of the Afghan-Russia war (which is an embellishment of the facts).

Due to his father's close contacts in Pakistan Army ZZH became very close to a shining officer Brig Zahoor Fazal Qadri Shaheed 73L/C ex CMI.

1741787703450.png

He started his thia by starting a shell company by the name of Brasstacks in 2004:
1741787951766.png

Mainly selling selling reports on a Monthly basis which were a compilation of news paper articles with some analysis which often always seemed to lean towards a war with India. Back in 04-05-06 he was a respected security consultant and was contracted by various embassies, Shell Petroleum and a few MNCs.

The so called "Scholar and Muslim Warrior" was once on the payroll of an American Oil Giant with investments in Zionist enterprise... :ROFLMAO:

Brig. Zahoor brought him into the fold as a guest speaker and analyst mainly writing synopsis on current security affairs during Gen. Mush period, his synopsis are still held in the NDU Library if you want to read them.

He was heavily promoted by "helping hand" who tried to prop him up as Pakistan's answer to Professor Michael Clarke. But none of the western media outlets took him seriously, and after his melt down during an interview in Washington he was actually banned from interviews with western media.

Somewhere between 06-08 he fell off the rails and claimed he had some divine inspiration and built up a social movement to inspire young people to counter "enemy narrative", he started publishing monthly magazines under the name of his old security company "BrassTacks" and several books.

During this time he was also propelled by a "helping hand" to air as a guest speaker on a TV show on security analysis by the name of "Brass Tacks".

He used his reach with students to visit universities and sell his books and give lectures on security, "grand strategic analysis" and "4th Generation Warfare". During one such lecture a student from Peshawar university visiting Islamabad asked a critical question about ZZH's "4th generation warfare", this resulted in ZZH's followed brutally beating up the student.

On his visit to Peshawar University, some Islamia Student Union locked ZZH in a room and beat him up, the police and university intervened and rescued ZZH from this.

Around this time ZZH had ammased a massive following and he started publishing an online Magazine which he sold for Rs. 500 a month, he started an MLM (multi-level-marketing campaign) fooling his young followers to invest in his "Gold Dinar Scheme"
1741788970667.png

In 2010 following the Murder of Mufti Saeed Ahmed Jalalpuri and ZZH's subsequent arrest https://www.dawn.com/news/887019/zaid-hamid-named-in-jalalpuri-murder-fir

The "helping hand" withdrew their support of ZZH and he fell out of favour with Pakistan Army.

Being powerful and connected he once again dodged a bullet, after his friends in Pakistan Army lost interest in him and saw him as a lunatic.

He became increasingly vociferous and bold, it was around 2012 that he went totally mental, he caimed on his facebook page and youtube that he was a "Green Eyed Mujahid" that would establish "Khilafat e Rashida” in Pakistan and lead “Ghazwa e Hind”.

1741789101686.png

By 2015 ZZH had amassed a massive following of over 1.2 million followrs on X and over 550,000 followers on Facebook with multiple income streams from his students buying his CD's, bullshit books and magazines.

Using his website, YouTube channel, twitter handle, Facebook page and TV channel He had made some silly remarks about the Saudi intervention in Yemen which resulted in his arrest in Saudi an eight year prison sentence and 1000 lashes:
1741788165184.png

Due to his family influence he was released from Saudi and returned to Pakistan. During this time his websites and facebook pages deleted his contact information including his office address which was also his home address and his Mobilink mobile number and personal email.

He lost his TV contract and several student unions that supported him withdrew their support. You will notice that he has been relegated to making his own YouTube videos, this is because he is now considered a liability every time he is invited to discuss any serious topic relating to defence, security or political analysis.

How this red hat wearing Marlboro smoking charlatan and conman who never served in Pakistan Army or even as a Chowkidar at a bank, never saw combat and has no field experience is taken seriously just shows how stupid some people in Pakistan are!
