There was no effort involved on part of IK government in high textile exports. It was solely due to the cancelled export orders in India and Bangladesh due to corona pandemic there.

The reality is that, despite having billions of dollars in external aid and loan rescheduling, IK government was shamelessly ended up begging the IMF (IK used to claim he would prefer a suicide rather than begging to IMF). Even then he messed it up and turned it into a land mine for Pakistan. Such a brainless, corrupt, and incompetent idiot. He is now a convicted criminal for just one instance of corruption and rotting in jail.

TMI and ehsas would have led to improvement of services by govt hospitals, otherwise they simply would have faced closure. more people would have gone to the hosp providing better care. improve or perish, that was the model. would have easily improved efficiency of govt hosps.

and if the hosps are a mafia, what is the current govt doing to counter it?

pandemic hit hard at pakistan as well. we survived in his tenure. simple as that. EFS and TERF helped us capitalize on that and in improving exports. leasing to increased employment, increased industrial output. what is happening now? how many textile units have been shut down?

what about ehsas program. people received increased payments and non-eligible people were kicked out. and now the pathetic BISP pays lakhs of rupees to employees but only 5-6k to deserving people. all the while allowing PPP to cash benazir's name at the cost of entire pakistan's taxes.

nawaz and maryam are convicted criminals as well. while IK's cases are being dropped regularly in higher courts for lack of evidence. lol.

They both were cleared by the courts despite the courts having many Imrandu judges who have acquitted IK in a few cases not on the merit but rather on technical grounds. A PM who stole stuff from tosha khana, created and used fake documents/receipts, and blatantly lied on oath was acquitted on technical grounds. That tells us why this judiciary is shamefully at the bottom in global ranking. Anyhow, IK is still a convicted criminal in another case.
