In case you haven',t noticed. Muslims have been facing racism and Islamaphobia in the west since 2001. A lot of this racism against Muslims in the west was supported and promoted by indians. Now the racists have turned on indians. Here in the uk, Pakistanis can take on and physically defeat the white racists. Apart from uk Pakistanis, ALL other non-white groups including indians CANNOT take on the white english racists let alone defeat them.

The hatred against indians in the west is growing. Their domination of jobs in the west especially in the uk is going to diminish. I can see it already happening.

Going back to your previous point you said that if indians go down, Pakistanis/Muslims go down too. I don't believe their is a direct correlation between the racism against these two groups. Why would there be? For many years, indians supported racism and Islamaphobia against Pakistanis/Muslims by siding with white european racists. Also, remember that indians are just as much if not more of an enemy of Pakistanis and Muslims in the uk. However, they are just not physically strong enough or have the numbers, will and courage to take on Pakistanis and Muslims. Their power in the west has also taken a hit with the white european racists turning on them.

I believe that as racism against ANY non-white group in the uk grows, racism against ALL OTHER non-white groups will grow too.

What we tend to forget is that Indian society is hugely stratified, even in the diaspora. They will deny any formalised caste based apparatus but it is all there in plain sight. The upper castes (who came to these lands earlier) will gladly walk on top of the lower ones arriving presently, in order to achieve success (with the notable exception being when those new arrivals are needed for sycophantic roles within an organisation). This partly explains why marriage to a white person is regarded as a "high achievement" in Indian society but may not be the full explanation.

Now I'm not saying class discrimination does not exist in the Pakistani diaspora also. Oftentimes it is manifest in the cities and towns we live in. However, I have heard some of the vitriol in the conversations between Indians on these matters and caste, as well as class, almost always dominates the chat.

The point being made is that Indians instinctively make a rod for their own back because they will throw each other under the bus, as well as anyone else they view as "dalitised" - Pakijjtanis are top of that list because we dared to convert out of and well away from such a backward philosophy.

Class discrimination is VERY low amongst Pakistanis in the uk. It often dies out within a generation. The VERY few instances of class discrimination is mainly exhibited by rich Pakistanis who have recently arrived in the uk but this soon evaporates or dies out.

The greeks and italians trickled into Australia after WW2 - they were treated as non white and not allowed in anglo saxon bars. Overtime they integrated

The Vietnamese and Chinese and Lebanese trickled in the 70s and they were treated with disrespect but overtime we all integrated as well.

The Indians came in some 15 yrs ago and completely flooded australia with scams, disgusting behaviour, very bad civic sense and stealing jobs from the lower class people.

Before everyone trickled in slowly and integrated very well but getting flooded is another issue altogether and everyone in Australia stands against Indian flooding and lack of integration and respect.
